생애사 접근법에 기초한 농인의 문어 발달에 대한 연구

국문 초록

농학생의 문어 발달이 초등학교 3-4학년 수준에 머무른다는 고원현상은 농교육계에서 통용되는 하나의 개념이다. 그러나 일부 농학생은 청인과 동등하거나 혹은 뛰어난 발달을 보이는 경우가 있다. 그러므로 이 연구에서 고등학생 3학년 이상의 문어 능력을 보이는 농성인 2명을 대상으로 생애사적 접근법에 따라 소리 없는 세상과의 만남, 교육 그리고 농인의 눈에 비친 문어 발달에 대하여 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 밝히기 위하여 개방형 설문지, 면담, 영상통화 등을 이용하여 면접을 시행하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태어난 자녀가 청각장애를 지닌 사실을 처음 진단하는 병원에서 이를 지원할 수 있는 서비스를 중립적인 입장에서 안내하여야 한다. 둘째, 농학생이 재학하는 일반 및 특수학교에서는 농학생의 보는 언어를 고려하여 관련 특수교육 서비스를 제공한다. 셋째, 문어에 관심을 가질 수 있는 허용적인 읽기 환경과 다양한 경험의 기회를 제공하고, 문어와 연결할 수 있는 의도적인 환경을 조성해야 한다.

영문 초록

The plateau phenomenon that the hearing impaired students literacy stays at the 3-4 grade level of elementary school is a concept that is widely used in special education for deaf. However, some deaf students may go beyond it and have equivalent or even better development. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to meeting with the world without sound, education and literacy development in the eyes of the deaf the life-history approach to studying two adults with deaf high school literacy. This study also provides implications for what to focus on the development of literacy in the deaf. Interviews were conducted using open questionnaires, interviews, and video calls to clarify the purpose of the study. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, the hospital should be able to provide a neutral perspective on what services the child can support in the first diagnosis of the child with deaf. Second, in general school and special school for deaf where deaf students attend, special education services should be provided considering the language of deaf students. Third, it is necessary to create an intentional environment in which the experience can be linked to literacy by providing a permissive reading environment and an opportunity to experience various experiences to be interested in the literacy.
