국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 역할부여를 통한 자립생활교육이 발달장애 대학생의 자아존중감 및 진로태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상자는 현재 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 발달장애 대학생 33명으로 1학년 21명, 2학년 3명, 3학년 8명, 4학년 1명이었다. 연구방법은 단일집단 사전ㆍ사후 검사 설계이다. 수집된 자료는 빈도 분석과 사전ㆍ사후 비교를 위해 t 검정을 실시하였으며, 상관관계 분석도 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발달장애 대학생의 자아존중감 형성에 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 발달장애 대학생의 진로태도에 있어 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 셋째, 역할부여를 활용한 자립생활교육을 통하여 향상된 자아존중감 변화와 진로태도 변화 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구는 주어지는 역할에서 실패나 어려운 과제를 접할 때 유발되는 부정적이며 외적인 귀인성향을 내적 귀인으로 해석하는 긍정적인 자아의식을 가질 수 있도록 유도할 수 있고, 실패로 인해 학습된 무기력 성향으로 인해 난이도가 있는 과제를 회피하기보다는 적극적인 자세로 과제를 해결하려는 경험을 통하여 자아 효능감이 높아질 수 있다는 시사점을 제공하였다. 따라서 발달장애 대학생들에게 다양한 상황에서 성공적인 성취 경험을 할 수 있도록 교수계획을 세우고 교수학습환경을 제공하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate how Independent living education be linked with role-making effects on self-esteem, career attitude of college with developmental disabilities(DD). 33 students with DD, 1st grade 21, 2nd grade 3, 3rd grade 8 and 4th grade 1 in N university, in Independent living education class, participated in this study which include surveys and interviews. This study was one-group pretest-posttest design. A descriptive statistics and t-test approaches were used to investigate the general information and the difference between the pretest and posttest. It was employed to analyze correlation between self-esteem and career attitude by SPSS(VER.20) and Interviews by constant comparative method. The finding of this study is as follows. First, Self-esteem of students with DD was improved. Second, students with DD show better awareness about career attitude. Third, the correlation between self-esteem and career attitude was also statistically significant. Finally, although DD students may encounter difficult tasks and failure, this study show that role-making in independent living education can afford opportunities on how to handle the emotional arousal positively. These findings further suggest that functional educational curriculum linked with real life including successful experiences should be more invigorated on educations of college students with DD.
