중등교사가 지각한 교사발달단계와 교사직무능력 및 교사직무 효능감과의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 중등교사가 지각한 교사발달 단계와 교사직무능력 및 교사직무 효능감 간에는 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 규명하고, 교사발달단계에 따라 교사직무능력의 어떤 요소들이 교사직무 효능감에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴봄으로써, 중등교사의 전문적인 교사직무능력 향상방안의 중요성을 강조하고 그 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울, 대전 및 충청남도 지역에 근무하고 있는 중학교와 인문계 고등학교 남녀교사 1,180명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 측정도구로는 강경석·김영만(2006)의 교사발달검사, 이난숙(1992)과 윤홍주(1996)의 교사직무능력검사, 김아영·김미진(2004)의 교사직무효능감검사를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과로는 첫째, 교사발달단계의 구성 비율은 열중·성장단계, 능력구축단계, 입문·수용단계 순으로 나타났으며, 안일·안주단계의 분포 비율은 비교적 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 교사직무능력 수준은 중․소도시 이하의 지역보다는 대도시에 근무하는 교사들에게서 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 교사직무 효능감 하위요인중 자기조절효능감, 과제난이도 선호는 직무능력 하위요인들과 유의미한 상관을 나타내 보였다. 따라서 안일·안주단계에 머물러 있는 중등교사들의 교사직무능력과 교사직무 효능감을 높일 수 있는 방안과, 중등교사의 직무능력 중 교사직무 효능감에 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 업무수행 능력과 교사로서의 자질 향상을 위한 정책적 방안이 제고될 필요성에 대하여 제언하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between teachers career development stage, job capabilities, and job efficacy in secondary school teachers. The study also the effect of teachers job capabilities on the job efficacy at different stages of their career development. The results of the study were as follows: First, most teachers were at the Growth-Enthusiasm, the Capability Development Stage, and the Entrance -Acceptance Stage. Only 11.5% of teachers were at the Ease stage. Second, the job capabilities of the chief teachers and big city teachers were higher than those of the regular teachers the local area teachers. Thus the plan should be drawn up to improve the job capabilities for the local area teachers. Third, the job efficacies of chief teachers and big city teachers were higher than those of the regular teachers and the local area teachers. Fourth, the Growth-Enthusiasm Stage, Capability Development Stage, and the Entrance-Acceptance Stage show the high correlation with job capabilities. This result is same to the job efficacy. The teacher s career development, their job capabilities, and their job efficacies were interrelated each other. Finally, the quality as a teacher and the job execution abilities are influential to job efficacy for the Entrance-Acceptance Stage, and the job execution and guidance abilities are influential to job efficacy for the Growth-Enthusiasm Stage. The job execution abilities affects job efficacy for the Ease Stage. thus the teacher efforts to improve their job capabilities should be drawn up for their job efficacy.
