장애학생 취업 후 적응지도에 대한 교사 및 유관기관 담당자 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애학생의 취업 후 적응지도에 대한 교사 인식과 유관기관의 취업 후 적응지도직무 담당자가 경험한 것을 토대로 취업 후 적응지도의 어려움과 개선방안을 탐색하는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구 참여자는 취업 후 적응지도에 참여한 특수학교 교사 3인, 특수학급교사 3인, 장애인복지관 직무 담당자 3인 등 총 9명을 선정하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2015년 3월부터 2015년 5월까지이며 반구조화된 면담(semi-structured interview)으로 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 전사-코딩-핵심주제를 생성해 가는 질적 연구를 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애학생의 취업 후 적응지도에 대한 교사의 인식은 유관기관 간의 연계를 위한 협력적 태도, 졸업으로 종결되는 취업 후 적응지도, 교사의 역량 강화, 능력보다 선처에 호소 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사가 경험하는 장애학생의 취업 후 적응지도의 어려움은 취업과 고용에 대한 장애학생, 장애부모, 사업체의 어려움과 제도적 차원에서 나타났다. 셋째, 장애학생의 효율적인 취업 후 적응지도를 위한 개선방안은 전환기 교육의 연계, 체계적인 시스템, 전담인력양성, 사업체의 장애인식개선 등으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 장애학생의 효율적인 취업 후 적응지도를 위해서는 전환기 교육의 연계 및 전담인력의 양성, 지원체계의 재구성, 그리고 유관기관과의 긴밀한 협조 등이 필요한 요건임을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study focuses on exploring the difficulties and the solutions for the teachers and the officers in charge of Follow-up after Employement with students with disabilities to adjust after being employed at the related organizations, based on their experience and understanding. In total, 9 people were selected to be involved in the study, who were 3 teachers from special schools, 3 teachers from special classes and 3 officers who were in charge of the duty at the Community Rehabilitation Centers. The period of collecting data was from Mar. 2015 to May 2015 and the semi-structured interviews were conducted at two special schools, 3 special classes and 2 Community Rehabilitation Centers. The result was drwan from the collected data with the qualitative research method through Transcription-Coding-Subject Creation. The findings of the study are as follows; First, the teachers understood that the follow-up after employment was having the cooperative attitude when working with the related organizations, guiding the disabled students to adjust to being employed after graduation, enhancing the capabilities of teachers, and appealing to a good will rather than abilities they had. Second, the difficulties that the teachers had when following-up the disabled students after employment were not only related to the system but also related to the difficulties that the disabled students, their parents and the businesses had when employing and hiring the disabled students. Third, the solutions for making the follow-up after employment more effective were linking with the education for the transition period, a well-organized system, training dedicated resource, and changing the awareness of businesses toward the disabled.
