장애인 평생교육 질적 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 2007년부터 2018년(현재)까지의 국내 장애인 평생교육 분야의 학위논문 및 학술지에 발표된 논문들을 중심으로 국내 장애인 평생교육 관련 질적 연구 동향을 분석하고 향후연구 전망에 대해 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 질적 연구 방법을 활용한 장애인 평생교육 관련 학위 논문 8편과 학술지 8편을 포함한 총 16편의 논문을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 장애인 평생교육에 대한 질적 연구는 2009년부터 시작되었는데 특히, 2016년과 2017년 사이 급증한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 목적은 의미 탐색(4편), 참여자 경험의 본질 탐구(7편), 문제해결 방안 모색(2편),변인 간 관계 분석(2편), 문화 이해(2편)로 드러났다. 셋째, 연구 방법의 유형은 근거 이론, 문화 기술지, 생애사 연구, 자문화 기술지, 심층 면담, 심층면담과 참여 관찰, 현상학, 질적 사례연구를 포함하였다. 연구 참여자 별 유형 분석 결과, 당사자(104명), 부모(67명), 교사(25명), 종사자(10명), 연구자 본인(3명), 비(非) 장애성인 2명으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구의 주제(내용)는 부모의 양육 과정 관련 연구가 2편, 전환교육과 직업분야 등의 프로그램 운영 관련 연구가 10편, 취업 관련 연구가 2편, 자기 옹호 관련 연구가 2편으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 후속 연구에 대한 논의 및 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze a trend of qualitative Researches in regards to lifelong education for individuals with disabilities centered on the papers and journals published in Korea from 2007 to 2018 (present) for the purpose of providing suggestions for future researches. To that end, general accounts, theses (details) and research methods of a total sixteen papers consisting of eight dissertations and eight papers were analyzed. As a result, firstly, the number of qualitative Researches on lifelong education for individuals with disabilities has increased since 2009, especially rapidly soaring between 2016 and 2017. Next, objectives of the Researches are categorized as follows: four for exploring meanings, seven for exploring the essence of experiences of participants, two for seeking for solutions, two for analyzing relations among variables, and two for understanding the culture. Third, research methods included the grounded theory, ethnography, life history research, autoethnography, in-depth interview, participant observation, phenomenology, and qualitative case study. Participants of the Researches were categorized as follows: the person in question (104), parents (67), teachers (25), workers (10), researchers (3), and non-disabled adults (2). Fourth, Researches according to theses (details) are divided as follows: Researches on parents child rearing (2), transitional education and jobs including three sub-categories on cooking and education (10), Researches on employment (2), and Researches on self-efficacy (2). Based on this result, discussions and suggestions for future Researches are provided.
