국문 초록

본 연구는 교사와 유아의 그림책 함께 읽기 활동을 통해 나타난 유아들의 언어적 반응 및 이야기 이해 전략의 변화·전개 과정을 심층적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 관찰일지와 비디오 녹화 및 녹음의 3가지 방법을 통해 자료를 수집한 후 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아들의 언어적 반응이 초기에는 구성요소에 초점을 두고 반응하였으나 후기에는 그림책을 하나의 문학작품으로 보고 접근하는 반응들이 나타났다. 둘째, 유아들은 이야기를 이해하기 위해 다양한 이해전략을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 그림책 함께 읽기 활동이 문학적 경험의 기회를 제공하고 언어적 반응 및 이야기 이해 전략의 변화에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 그림책을 읽는 과정에서 그림의 의미나 분위기가 유아에게 본문과 더불어 중요한 정보를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze deeply how the focus of young children s verbal response changes and how the comprehension strategy are developed in shared reading the picture-story books with teacher. After collecting the data with writing field note, video recording and sound recording, I analyzed them qualitatively. The results of study were as follows:First, in the beginning children made a response to structural elements of story. But, as time goes on, they made a response with thinking picture-story book as a literary work. Second, it showed that in the course of reading with teacher, young children used various comprehension strategy to understand the story. Third, it showed that shared reading gave the various literary experience and had an influence on focus of linguistic response and change of story comprehension strategy. Fourth, it showed that young children had an interest in the detail of picture story book which teacher didn t find, and with the implication of images and information which the environment provided, they understood the portion which could not understand by text.
