유아의 자기조절능력이 또래상호작용에 미치는 영향: 유아-교사 관계의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 또래상호작용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 자기 조절능력이 또래상호작용에 미치는 영향력과 이 과정에서 유아-교사의 친밀관계, 갈등관계, 의존관계 의 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 J시에 위치한 5곳의 어린이집에 다니는 만 4, 5세 유아 212명이고, 이들 유아를 담당하고 있는 교사에게 유아의 자기조절능력, 또래상호작용, 유아-교 사 관계 설문을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 유아의 자기조절능력, 유아-교사의 관계는 또래상호작용과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 자기조절능력이 또래상호작용을 설명하기에 가장 영향력이 큰 변인이었 고, 다음으로 유아-교사의 갈등관계 순이며, 이들 변인의 설명력은 53.4%이었다. 셋째, 유아의 자기조 절능력과 또래상호작용과의 관계에서 유아-교사의 친밀관계, 갈등관계 및 의존관계의 매개효과가 있 는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to take a look at the factors that influence children's peer interactions. For this, it was intended to verify the influence of the children' self-regulation ability on the children's peer interactions, and it was intended to verify the mediated effect of the child-teacher relationships. The subjects of this research were four to five year-old 212 children from five daycare centers in J city. Teachers were tested by questionnaires. The results of this study were as follows: First, children' self-regulation ability and child-teacher relationships were significantly correlated with children's peer interactions. Second, children' self-regulation ability and child-teacher conflict relationships were variables influencing children's peer interactions. Lastly, child-teacher relationships of intimacy, conflict, and dependence mediated between children' self-regulation ability and children's peer interactions.
