중국과 한국 유학생의 문화적응 유형과 심리적 안녕감 관계 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 재한 중국유학생 및 재중 한국유학생들을 위한 정신건강 서비스의 효과적인 제공하기 위해 양국 유학생들의 문화적응 유형과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계를 비교하였다. 이를 위해 재한 중 국유학생 365명, 재중 한국유학생 323명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 문 화적응 유형 및 심리적 안녕감에 중국유학생과 한국유학생 집단이 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 문 화적응 유형 하위요인 중 동화에서 중국유학생이 한국유학생보다 낮고, 분리, 주변화 유형에서 중국 유학생이 한국유학생보다 높았다. 심리적 안녕감의 하위요인 중 자아수용, 긍정적 대인관계, 삶의 목 적에서 중국유학생이 한국유학생보다 낮게 나타났다. 중국유학생과 한국유학생 집단이 문화적응 유 형과 심리적 안녕감 간의 관계에서는 비교적 유사하게 나타났다. 중국유학생 및 한국유학생 집단이 모두 동화와 분리의 문화적응 유형과 심리적 안녕감 간에 거의 상관이 없는 것으로 나타난 반면, 주 변화 문화적응 유형과 심리적 안녕감 간에는 상당한 수준의 역상관이 나타났는데 한국유학생이 중국 유학생보다 높은 역상관을 보였다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the relationship between acculturation types and psychological well-being of the students in Korea and China. In order to explore whether differences exist in acculturation types and psychological well-being between Chinese students studying in Korea and Korean students studying in China, and to analyze the relationship between these variables, a total of 688 samples from 365 Chinese students and 323 Korean students were collected. The difference in acculturation types and psychological well-being between Chinese students and Korean students is significant. Specifically, the level of assimilation for Chinese students is lower than that of Korean students, and the level of separation and marginalization for Chinese students is higher than that of Korean students. There are similarities in the correlation between acculturation types and psychological well-being between Chinese students and Korean students. However, there is no relationship between assimilation, separation and psychological well-being for Chinese students and Korean students groups. A negative correlation between marginalization and psychological well-being is significant and this negative correlation is slightly higher for Korean students.
