여대생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수준이 진로장벽에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 여대생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수준이 진로장벽 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여, 현재 재학 중인 대학생 216명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구결과를 도출하기 위한 자료의 분석은 먼저 인구사회 학적 특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석과 기술통계분석을 실시하였고, 성역할 고정관념과, 진로결정수준 및 진로장벽 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 여대생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수 준이 진로장벽에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 여대생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수준 및 진로장벽 간에 밀접한 관련이 있음을 알게 되 었으며 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수준이 여대생의 진로장벽에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특 히 개인적?심리적 및 사회적?환경적 요인을 고루 포함하고 있는 진로장벽 중 진로준비부족이 여대생이 진로를 결정할 때 가장 커다란 진로장벽인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이는 실재로 여대생이 진로선택 및 진로결정 을 하는데 있어 진로장벽이 방해하는 역할을 한다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 여대생의 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 진로장벽에 대하여 지속적으로 조사하고 이를 해결할 진로교육 프로그램을 개발하는 등 방 안을 마련해야 할 필요성을 시사한다. 본 연구를 통해 여대생의 성역할 고정관념과 진로결정수준이 진로장벽에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 진로결정문제로 어려움을 겪고 있는 여대생들의 진로선택 및 진로결정을 도울 다양한 방안 모색과 적절한 발달과업을 잘 이룰 수 있도록 돕는데 실증적 자료를 제공하는데 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact on career barriers by career decision level and gender role stereotypes of female college students. The survey was conducted by female college students, and the methods of data analysis were as follows. First, frequency analysis and descriptive statistic analysis were performed to identify demographic characteristics. Second, correlation analysis was performed to find out the relationship among gender role stereotypes, career decision level and career barriers. Third, multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the impact on career barriers by career decision level and gender role stereotypes of female college students. As a result, career decision level and gender role stereotypes of female college students are closely related with career barriers, and the stereotypes and career decision level affect on career barriers. In particular, lack of career preparation which is one of career barriers including personal, psychological, social, and environmental factors is the biggest career barrier to decide a career. It means that career decision actually disturb the college student to have a career choice and career barriers. These results suggest that career decision should which affect on career barriers be examined consistently, and career education programs should be developed to solve the problem caused by career barriers. This study can provide basis data and a variety of ways to help female college students who have considerable difficulty in determining their career choices and career barriers.
