아동학대 행위자의 학대 예방을 위한 치료교육에서 미술치료의 적용에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동학대의 피해를 줄이고 예방하기 위하여 주 학대행위자 치료교육에서 미술치료를 적용 할 수 있는 성공적 방안을 탐색하는데 있었다. 이를 위하여 현재 우리나라 아동학대의 특성을 분석한 후, 주 학대행위자인 부모를 대상으로 한 프로그램과 부모대상 미술치료 프로그램 기존연구들을 구체적으로 검토하였 다. 따라서 아동학대 예방을 위한 실천현장에서 미술치료의 역할과 필요성을 강조하면서 유용성과 중점을 두어 야 할 점들을 모색하고자 한다. 연구의 방법은 메타분석방법을 이용하였으나 독립적으로 이루어진 여러 연구결 과들을 한데 모아 통계적으로 분석하는 방법이 아니라 아동학대 행위자에게 개입한 사례연구와 부모교육 미술 치료 연구의 프로그램 내용을 질적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학대행위자 부모교육에서 미술치료는 다음 몇 가 지 측면에서 매우 유용하다고 본다. 첫째, 미술치료는 학대행위자 자기 자신에 대한 이해를 깊게 하며, 둘째, 매체를 통한 자기표현과 감정표출이 그들의 정서적 안정을 돕고, 셋째, 미술치료는 그림을 그리거나 창작활동 과정에서 느끼게 되는; 성취감과 정서적 표현을 통해 양육스트레스를 완화하고, 넷째, 미술치료의 다양한 기법 은 부모들이 학대하지 않고도 자녀들을 관리할 수 있는 방법을 배울 수 있게 한다. 나아가 아동학대자 치료교 육에서 미술치료는 학대행위자의 학대행위에 대한 개선의지를 촉진하여 변화하는데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to seek a successful way of applying art therapy in the therapeutic education for treatment and prevention of child abuse. Previous studies and programs on art therapy for parents were analyzed after examining characteristics of abusing parents and child abuse in Korea. The focus of this study was on the role and the need of art therapy in the clinical field of child abuse prevention. The method of this study was a meta-analysis based on advanced literature reviews. This study analyzed precent research which have intervention program in child abuser and art therapy program in parent education, not statistically analyzing advanced independent research results. As a result of this study, it would be useful to implement the art therapy in education for parents who abuse their children. The four reasons were discussed as followings; First, The art therapy supports parents a better understanding of child abusers themselves, Second, self-expression and emotional release through medium so that encourages emotional stability. Third, The art therapy will alleviate their parenting stresses by emotional expression and feel some achievement while drawing a paint or creative activity. Fourth, Various techniques of art therapy can make parents learn how to manage their children without abusing them. Furthermore, the art therapy in therapeutic education for abuse actors would be to promote the abusers' will to improve their parenting behavior.
