집단미술치료가 학대피해 아동의 사회성에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 학대피해 아동 10명을 대상으로 집단미술치료 프로그램이 학대피해아동의 사회성에 미치는 효 과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 B시 아동보호전문기관에 아동학대로 신고 되어 현재 기관 내에 있 는 아동일시보호시설(쉼터)에서 생활하고 있는 아동들로 구성되었다. 집단미술치료 프로그램은 2011년 4월 21 일~30일까지 사전검사를 실시하였고, 5월 1일~8월 14일까지 주1회 120분으로 총 15회기를 실시하였으며, 프로 그램 종료 1주일 후인 8월 21일에 사후검사를 실시하였다. 아동들의 사회성 변화를 알아보기 위해 사회성 척도 검사와 행동변화를 사전, 사후로 나누어 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학대피해 아동들의 사회성 변화를 대응표본 t-test로 검증한 결과(t=-2.93, p<.05)에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 학대피해 아 동들의 행동 변화에서 짜증이나 거친 언어 사용, 공격적인 행동과 잦은 다툼, 자신의 잘못 감춤, 타인의 이야기 집중하여 듣지 않음, 내면 분노감정을 동생들에게 풀어버림, 소극적인 모습, 눈물로 의사 표현하는 등의 초기 행동들이 후기에는 자신의 생각과 의사를 분명히 표현하며 스스로 문제 해결책을 찾으려 하고, 또래와 잘 어울 리며, 동생 잘 보살핌, 이야기에 귀 기울이는 모습 등의 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 이상의 결과를 통해 집단미술 치료가 학대피해 아동들의 사회성에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study purports to see if and how an group art therapy program influences sociality of 10 children with abuse. The children, the subject of study, who was reported as child abuse to the child protection agency in the B city and now is on the temporary child care facilities(shelters). The Group art therapy program consists of a total 15 sessions during May 1 through August 14 of 2011, one session a week and each session lasting 120minutes, together with the pretest during April 21 through April 30 and the posttest on August 21. Measuring tools to check the changes in sociality are sociality scale examination and behavior change for pretest and posttest. The results of this study are as follows. First, the meaningful changes was shown in the sociality changes of child with abuse, as the result of verifying by a paired sample t-test (t =- 2.93, p <.05). Second, in abuse children's behavior change, frustration or harsh language, aggressive behavior and frequent quarrels, hiding his own fault, not focuss to hear others' stories, expressing the inner anger feelings to younger brother, the negative image, expressing with tears, etc. initial actions are changed into expressing their own thoughts and intention, and trying to find a solution to the problem by themselves, mixing with peers, looking after brothers, listening attentively to the story, etc. positive actions in the latter half. These results prove that an group art therapy program is positively effect on sociality of children with abuse.
