집단미술치료가 학대받은 아동의 위축행동에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료를 통하여 학대받은 아동의 위축행동을 감소시키는데 있다. 연구대상은 학대로 인해 부모와 분리되어 시설에 1년 이상 거주하고 위축 행동을 보이는 여자 아동 2명으로 12주간, 1주 3회기, 총 30회기의 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 프로그램 적용 전, 후, 종료 1개월 후에 아동행동평가척도(K-CBCL)의 위축점수와 행동관찰에 의한 위축행동의 변화과정을 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인별 사전, 사후, 추후 위축점수가 렐라의 경우 각각 97T, 65T, 65T로 감소하였으며, 피아노의 경우에도 각각 98T, 79T, 79T로 감소하였다. 둘째, 행동관찰에 의한 위축행동의 변화 양상을 분석한 결과 위축행동 목록표를 통해 평가한 위축행동 평균 점수는 1회기에는 4점, 5회기 3.5점, 10회기 3점, 15회기와 20회기 각 2점, 25회기 1.5점, 30회기 1점으로 단계적으로 감소하였다. 셋째, 초기단계는 자기의사를 말하기보다는 억압, 왜곡, 회피, 철수 등의 부정적인 방식으로 표현하는 행동들이 자주 관찰되었으나 종결 단계에서는 자신의 감정에 초점을 두어 표현하게 되었고 이러한 태도는 갈등을 완화시키고 서로에 대한 이해를 증진시켜 응집력 있는 분위기를 조성하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 집단미술치료가 학대받은 아동의 위축행동에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 결론을 내릴 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to check if a group art therapy can help reduce withdrawal behavior of abused children. Study subjects are two girls separated from their parents because of parental abuse, living in facilities for more than one year, and showing withdrawal behavior. They received a total 30 session of art therapy program, three sessions a week for 12 weeks. K-CBCL(Korean Child Behavior Check-List) is adopted to investigate the degree of their withdrawal by pre-, post- and follow-up test of K-CBCL, in the way that the degree of withdrawal is measured in T score, compared, and analyzed in accordance with observational list on how withdrawal is reduced as sessions go by. Main results from the study are as follows. First, individual measurement scores for pre-test, post-test and follow-up test with regard to children\'s withdrawn behavior are as follows. Rella\'s scores are 97T, 65T, 65T. Piano\'s scores are 98T, 79T, 79T. Second, as the sessions go by, the scores according to the observational list have decreased to indicate that a positive change emerges on withdrawal. Third, as the sessions go by, abused children accelerate self-expression, presentation skills and self-confidence while speak frankly about themselves rather than accusing others. They also increase understanding and sympathy toward each other and become a cohesive group for their own atmosphere. Key Words : Group Art Therapy, Abused Children, Withdrawn Behavior.
