국문 초록

장애아동의 존재는 그 아동이 속해 있는 가족에게 많은 부정적인 영향을 미친다. 장애아동의 존재는 부모들로 하여금 자녀의 장애를 수용하고, 아동의 장애특성 및 그에 대한 적절한 양육 방법을 이해해야 할뿐만 아니라 관련 치료 기관들을 찾아 도움을 받고, 그리고 자녀를 대신하여 자녀의 문제를 해결해 주는 역할을 하도록 한다. 또한 아동의 장애를 이해하지 못하는 주변의 친척, 친구 및 사람들에게 자녀의 장애를 이해시키고, 그 공동체내에서 아동이 수용되어질 수 있도록 해야만 한다. 장애아동으로 인해 발생되는 이런 많은 역할 부담은 부모의 심리적 안녕감에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀지고 있다. 그러나 이런 역할부담이 특히 아동의 일차적인 양육과 교육을 담당하고 있는 어머니에게 지대한 영향을 미친다(Bristol et a1., 1988; Milgram & Atzi1., 1988; Timko, Stovel, & Moos, 1992)(Dyson. 1997에서 재인용).

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper was to study the family perceptioon of parents with the developmentally disabled children using Kinetic Family Drawing The subjects of this investigation was 47 couples with the developmentally disabled children who are getting early education, speech therapy, and psychotherapy at Gwangju Welfare Center for the Disabled. Their Kinetic Family Drawing were collected and scored using the Bums and Kaufman’s and Ik-hong Yang scoring manual. For data analysis, T-test and x2 verification were conducted using SPSS/PC Program. The results of this study were as follows: First, In actions of drawing, the only factors of nurturing revealed significant difference between fathers and mothers. Second, In figure characteristics of drawings, there was no significant difference between fathers and mothers. Third, In dynamics of drawings, the factor of superiority, the direction of figure, the distance between figures revealed statistically significant difference between fathers and mothers. Finally, In style and symbol dimension, it was statistically significant difference between fathers and mothers in the only force field 3. The limitation of study and the implication for future research was discussed.
