결손가정 아동의 자긍심 강화를 위한 집단미술치료

국문 초록

현대사회는 흔히 산업 재해나 사고, 빈번한 교통사고 등의 위기상황과 부모의 사망, 이혼, 별거, 장기복역, 정신장애 등으로 인해 가족기능이 약화되거나 해체된 결손가정이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 결손가정은 모자가정, 부자가정, 소년소녀가장세대 등 가정에 아버지나 어머니 혹은 양친이 없는 가정으로 1994년 67,722세대가 생활보호로 책정 보호받고 있다(보건복지부 ’94 생활보호대상자 현황분석. 1994). 더욱이 결손가정은 경제적인 어려움으로 인해 수반되는 여러가지 고통뿐만 아니라 정서적이고 심리적인 문제 등도 함께 겪고 있다. 또한 결손가정 아동들은 부모가 경제적인 활동을 하는 동안 부모로서의 역할이 소홀하게 되면서 그 자녀가 다소 부적응 행동을 나타낼 수 있고, 그리고 자칫 세상을 모순과 부정적인 시각으로 바라보기 쉬우며 긴장, 좌절감, 열등감, 위축감 등 심리적인 불안정으로 인해, 대체로 자긍심이 낮고 가출, 학교부적응, 비행, 행동장애, 폭력, 약물오남용 등의 다발적이고 복합적인 문제로 파생될 우려가 있으며, 아동 개인의 사회적응에 있어서도 어려움을 나타내고 있다.

영문 초록

This Study was designed to measure the effects of the group art therapy in relation to the children of poor and broken family who have the low self-esteem in terms of providing a program to intensify their self-esteem. The purpose of the study was to show the effects of the group art therapy inf1uencing on their growth of the positive self-concept. The subject of the study was selected twenty(20) children of poor and broken families in Tae-gu city. According to the grade of children. the group(20) as experimental group was devided in two(2) small groups. The period of experimentation is ten weeks. ninety minutes are allocated. The results of the study were measured by using the t-test and the varied study described as the follows First. the children who participates group art therapy was improvement total positive total self-concept was varied statistica!ly significant level. Second. the children who participates group art therapy will make improvement general self-concept and school-related self-concept was varied statistically significant level. Third. the family self-concept and social self-concept of the poor and broken’s children was not statiscally significance. The art activities in this study allowed for the expression of a variety of emotions in a safe environment. As other populations share similar feelings of lOw self-esteem. this intervention may be beneficial for them.
