일반 청소년 및 빈곤 청소년의 탄력성 결정요인 비교 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울교육종단연구(Seoul Education Longitudinal Study of 2010: 이하 SELS) 자 료를 사용하여 일반 청소년과 빈곤 청소년을 구분하여 각 집단의 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 비교 분석하였다. 일반 청소년과 빈곤 청소년의 탄력성 결정요인을 비교 분석하기 전에 전체 청소년을 대상으로 탄력성 결정요인에 대한 다중회귀 분석결과, 성별, 자아개념, 건강상태, 성취목표, 부모와의 관계, 교우관계, 교사에 대한 인식, 교내외 동아리활동이 유의 한 영향을 끼쳤다. 다음으로 일반 청소년과 빈곤 청소년의 탄력성 결정요인에 대한 분석결 과, 탄력성 결정요인에서 뚜렷한 차이를 발견할 수 있었다. 일반 청소년에 비해 빈곤 청소년 의 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 제한적이었다. 구체적으로 일반 청소년의 탄력성에는 성 별, 자아개념, 성취목표, 건강상태, 부모와의 관계, 교우관계, 교사에 대한 인식, 교내외 동아 리활동 등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 빈곤 청소년의 탄력성에는 성별, 자아개념, 교우관계, 교사에 대한 인식만이 제한적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이상의 연구결 과를 바탕으로 각 청소년 집단의 탄력성 증진과 관련된 정책적 시사점을 간략하게 논의하였 다.

영문 초록

This study implemented comparative analysis on factors that affect resilience for general adolescents vs. adolescents in poverty using Seoul Education Longitudinal Study of 2010 data. Authors applied multiple regression model to analyze determinants of resilience for total adolescent group in advance. Regression results showed that sex, self-concept, health state, achievement goal, parent-adolescent relation, peer relation, perception on the teacher, and club activity affect the resilience for adolescents. Estimating separately for general adolescents and adolescents in poverty, discernible differences were found in factors affecting the resilience between them. The significant factors affecting the resilience for adolescents in poverty were limited compared with general adolescents. Specifically, sex, self-concept, health state, achievement goal, parent-adolescent relation, peer relation, perception on the teacher, and club activity are significant factors that explain the resilience for general adolescents. For adolescents in poverty, however, sex, self-concept, peer relation, and perception on the teacher have positive impacts on their resilience. Authors briefly discussed implications that can enhance adolescents’ resilience based on the major findings.
