청소년의 학교적응도 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 한국청소년개발원에서 실시한 ‘한국청소년패널조사(Korea Youth Panel Survey)’ 데이터 를 사용하여 중학생 청소년의 학교적응도를 분석 하였다. 청소년과 학교 특성에 비추어 볼 때, 청 소년의 학교에의 적응은 교육적, 발달적 측면에서 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 그러나 청소년은 다양한 사회적 환경에 속해 있기 때문에 학교에의 적응을 단편적으로 설명하는데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 청소년의 사회적 관계인 대인관계, 자신에 대한 인식인 자아관, 발달과정에서 축적되어 나타난 부적응심리, 그리고 학교사회에서의 적응 정도를 가늠하게 될 학업상태가 학교적응도에 어 떻게, 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지 확인해 보았다. 분석방법은 5개 잠재변수와 12개의 측정변수를 구조방정식 모형으로 구성하여 탐색하였다. 분석결과는 중학생 청소년이 학교에 적응하는 요인과 그 맥락을 확인할 수 있으며, 이것은 청소 년의 건강한 발달과 교육적 효율성을 향상시키기 위한 정보와 시사점을 제공할 것이라 여겨진다.

영문 초록

Using a sample from the Korea Youth Panel Survey, conducted by the Korea Institute for Youth Development, this study analyzes school adjustment of junior high students. In considering the nature of adolescents and schools, school adjustment for adolescents has great significance from the education and development perspectives. However, since adolescents belong to many types of social environment, there is a limit to explaining school adjustment simply. Therefore this study examines how and to what degree personal relations, self-awareness, maladjustment mentality, and school performance influence school adjustment. For analysis, 5 latent variables and 12 observed variables are organized into a structural equation model. The finding of this study confirms the main factors influencing school adjustment of junior high students and their connections. It will provide a framework for promoting the sound development of adolescents, and in raising educational efficiency.
