청소년의 스마트폰 중독 선별도구로서 ‘빗속의 사람(PITR)’ 그림 활용 가능성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 스마트폰 사용 정도에 따른 빗속의 사람(PITR: Person In The Rain)의 반응특성차이를 알아보고, PITR이 청소년의 스마트폰 중독을 선별할 수 있는 검사도구로 활용 가능한지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 경기도에 소재한 중학교 2개교의 1-3학년 406명을 군집표집 하였고, 연구도구는 PITR 그림검사, 스마트폰 중독 검사를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 연구문제와 관련하여 스마트폰 사용 정도에 따른 PITR의 반응특성 차이검증은 교차분석을, 스마트폰 중독을 선별할 수 있는 도구로 타당성 검증을 위해서는 판별분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 스마트폰 일반 사용자와 고위험 사용자의 PITR에 나타난 스트레스 반응특성은 비의 양, 비의 세기, 비와 사람의 접촉, 웅덩이의 수, 웅덩이의 면적, 웅덩이와 사람의 접촉에서 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 스트레스 대처자원 반응특성은 장화 유무, 모자 유무, 간접 보호물 유무, 인물의 크기, 인물의 균형, 전체 인물 표현, 선의 질에서 집단 간 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 스마트폰 중독 선별도구로서 PITR의 변별력은81.9%로 나타났고, 일반 사용자는 82.1%, 고위험 사용자는 81.0%를 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통하여 PITR이 청소년의 스마트폰 중독을 선별도구로 활용 가능성이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the difference in response characteristics of PITR according to the level of use of smartphone by adolescents and to validate whether PITR can be used as a screening tool for adolescents. The study participants were cluster sampling of 406 students in grade 1-3 grades located in 2 middle schools of Gyeong-gi province. The research tools were PITR and the smartphone addiction test. Data were analyzed using a cross tabulation analysis of the difference in the response characteristics of PITR according to the degree of smartphone usage, and a discrimination analysis for the validity test of the smartphone addiction. The results were as follows. First, the stress response characteristics in the PITR of general users and high risk users of smartphone showed the significant differences in the amount of rain, intensity of rain, contact of people with rain, number of puddles, area of puddle, and contact of people with puddles. The stress coping resource response characteristics also showed the significant differences between groups in existence of boots, existence of hats, existence of indirect protection, size of characters, person balance, whole person expression, and quality of lines. Second, as a smartphone addiction screening tool, the discriminant power of PITR was 81.9%. The discriminant power was 82.1% in the general users and 81.0% is the high risk users. These findings imply that PITR is a valid tool to detect the degree of smartphone addiction among adolescents.
