상담자의 개인 상담수퍼비전 참여 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 상담자들의 개인 상담수퍼비전 참여 경험 과정과 그와 관련된 요인들을 탐색하여 개인상담수퍼비전의 실체이론을 창출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 임의표집 방법을 활용하여 총 9명의 참여자를 대상으로 심층 면담하였다. 연구 방법으로는 질적 연구방법 중 하나인 구성주의 근거이론(Charmaz, 2009, 2014) 접근방법의 주요 절차를 활용하여 연구를 진행하고 결과를 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초기코딩 과정을 거쳐 면접 자료를 범주화한 결과 106개의 개념, 31개의 하위범주, 15개의 상위 범주가 도출되었다. 둘째, 경험 과정 범주들을 시간의 흐름에 따라 연결 짓는 과정 분석 결과, ‘나를 보게 되는 단계’, ‘호기심으로 알고 싶어 하는 단계’, ‘곰곰이 잘 생각하는 단계’, ‘갈래를 통합하는 단계’, ‘새로운 눈으로 보는 단계’의 5단계로 정리되었다. 셋째, 상담자의 개인 상담수퍼비전과 관련된 요인은 ‘개인과 상담자 요인’, ‘수퍼비전 요인’, ‘실천 요인’, ‘성찰 요인’으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 수퍼비전 과정을 설명하는 초기 이론을 구축하고 상담자들의 수퍼비전 경험과 인식을 이해하는 데 도움이 되었다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to derive a theory of individual counseling supervision by exploring the process of counselors’ experience in personal counseling supervision and related factors. To accomplish this research purpose, nine interviewees were selected using a convenience sampling method and interviewed. Constructivist grounded theory(Charmaz, 2009, 2014) approach was conducted to analyze the results. The main results of the study are summarized as follows. First, categorizing interview data through initial coding process resulted in 106 concepts, 31 subcategories, and 15 upper categories. Second, the process analysis of connecting the experience process categories according to the flow of time shows that the step to see me’, the stage to want to know by curiosity’, the stage to think well’, the stage to integrate branches’, and ‘the stage to view with new perspective’. Third, the factors related to personal counseling supervision appeared to be ‘the individual and counselor factor’, ‘supervision factor’, ‘practice factor’, and ‘reflection factor’. This study is meaningful in that it helped to build an initial theory that explained the supervision process and to understand the supervision experiences and perceptions.
