청년층 자녀의 행복수준 및 영향요인 탐

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국노동패널(KLIPS) 18차 및 부가조사(삶의 인식) 자료를 통해 만15-34세 청년층 자 녀의 행복수준 및 영향요인을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청년층 자녀의 행 복수준은 연령 증가에 따라 저하하는 경향이 있고, 시기별로 성별에 따른 행복수준 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 교육수준이 높을수록 청년층 자녀의 행복수준이 높았다. 셋째, 행복수준 영향요인 중 성별은 통 계적으로 유의하지 않은 반면, 연령은 음(-)의 영향을, 연령제곱 및 교육수준은 양(+)의 영향을 주었 다. 넷째, 연령 비선형 효과 반환점은 만27.5세 이후로 추정된다. 즉, 만28세까지는 연령 1세 증가마다 약 4.67% 행복수준이 감소하는 한편 만30세가 되면 연령 1세 증가에 따른 행복수준이 약 1.20% 증가 할 것으로 예상된다. 다섯째, 개방성, 내적통제소재, 긍정적상호성, 여가활동 및 가족수입 생활만족도, 아버지 연령이 긍정적 요인으로 확인되었다. 여섯째, 로그가구총소득은 음(-)의 영향을, 가족수입 생 활만족도는 양(+)의 영향을 보여 행복이 객관적 소득보다 주관적 소득과 더 높은 상관관계가 있음을 뒷받침했다. 일곱째, 아버지 보다 어머니의 행복수준이 청년층 자녀의 행복수준에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 추정된다. 즉, 다른 변인들이 통제된 상태에서 아버지 행복수준 1단위 변화는 청년층 자녀 의 행복수준을 0.195만큼 변화시키고, 어머니 행복수준 1단위 변화는 0.258만큼 변화시켰다.

영문 초록

This study is designed to explore factors affecting happiness level of 15-34 years old youth children using KLIPS 18th wave and Life Attitudes Supplemental Survey in 18th wave. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, The level of happiness of youth children showed a tendency to decrease with age and was a difference in happiness according to sex. Second, The higher the level of education, the higher the level of happiness. Third, Among the factors affecting happiness level, gender was not statistically significant, age had negative influence, age squared and education level had positive effect. Fourth, The turning point due to the non-linear effect of age is estimated to be after the age of 27.5 years. By the age of 28, the level of happiness decreases by about 4.67% per year, while at the age of 30, the level of happiness is expected to increase by about 1.20% per year. Fifth, Openness, inner control, positive reciprocity, leisure activities and family income life satisfaction, father age were positive factors. Sixth, Log household income had a negative impact, and family income life satisfaction had a positive impact. Finally, it is estimated that mother’s level of happiness has a greater influence on the level of happiness of youth children than father. In other words, when controlling other variables, it is estimated that the change of father’s happiness level of 1 unit will change the child’s happiness level by 0.195 and the change of mother’s happiness level of 1 unit will change by 0.258.
