K-CESA 의사소통역량이 대인관계역량에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 의사소통역량과 대인관계역량의 상관성과 의사소통역량이 대인관계역량에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 2017년도 대학생 핵심역량 진단(K-CESA)의 의사소통역량과 대인관계역량에 참여한 전국 72개 대학(중복 제외), 14,117명의 결과를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 관련 연구결과와 다르게 나타났다. 첫째, 의사소통역량의 총점, 5개의 하위요인과 대인관계역량의 총점, 5개의 하위요인 간 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의하였으나, 상관도가 높지 않았다. 둘째, 의사소통역량 총점 수준에 따라 대인관계역량 총점과 5개 하위요인의 평균 차는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 의사소통역량의 말하기와 쓰기 하위요인은 대인관계역량의 총점과 5개 하위요인 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가장 영향력이 높은 변인은 말하기 하위요인이었는데, 토론과 중재 하위요인은 대인관계역량 총점과 5개 하위요인에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구결과는 의사소통역량과 대인관계역량의 역량 개념과 요인의 특성 간 대응이 어렵고, 측정도구의 개발과 활용 목적이 상이하여 관련 연구결과 해석에 한계가 있지만, 의사소통역량과 대인관계역량의 직접적인 상관관계와 영향력이 관련 연구결과와 달리 크지 않았음을 실증했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to vertify the correlationship and the effect of communication competence and interpersonal competence. In order to achieve this purpose, the results of 14,117 students from 72 universities (excluding duplicates) participated in communication competence and interpersonal competence of K-CESA in 2017 were analyzed. The result of this study appreared differently from those of related studies. First, the correlation between total score of communication competence, 5 subfactors and total socre of interpersonal competence, 5 subfactors was statistically significant, but the correlation was not high. Second, according to the level of communication competence total score, the difference beteween total score of interpersonal competence and average of 5 subfactors was significant. Third, speaking and writing subfactors of communication competence were found to affect both the total score of interpersonal competence and 5 subfactors. The most influential variables was speaking subfactor. However, debate and mediation subfactors had no effect on total score of interpersonal competence and 5 subfactors. The results of this study suggest that communication competence and interpersonal competence are difficult to correspond with competence concept and factor characteristics. Moreover, there is a limitation in interpreting related study results as the purpose of development and utilization of measurement tools is different. Nevertheless, this result is of significance in that it demonstrates direct correlations and influences are not significant as the results of the related studies.
