영문 초록

Periotest and radiographs are widely used to confirm the osseointegration of dental implant in cases of missing teeth. This study compared the correlationship between radiographic supporting bone height and periotest value. The results were as follows. 1. The mean value of PTV for total 94 implants was -3.18± 2.99，and the mean bone resorption ratio was 20.70± 8.89%, but there was no significant difference in the correlationship between PTV & bone resorption ratio. This result showed that PTV may be more infkienced by bone quality & quantity than bone height. 2. According to the locations the PTV of maxillary implants showed higher significant difference than the PTV of mandibular im plants(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the correlationship between two variables. 3. Compared to the types of implants, the PTV of Branemark implant showed no signficant difference(P<0.05). Bone resorption ratio of Branemark implants was significantly lower than that of IMZ. There was no significant difference in the correlationship between the PTV and bone height. 4. According to the sex, the PTV was significantly lower in Male than in female (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the correlationship between the PTV and bone height. 5. The PTV did not show significant difference according to the duration after fixture placement. The bone resorption ratia was significantly higher according to the duration of. implant placement(P
