전북지역 결혼이주여성의 사회적 참여, 사회적 지지와 삶의 질의 구조적 관계

국문 초록

한국에서 결혼이주여성의 증가와 함께 우리사회가 해결해야 할 다양한 문제를 가지고 있다. 특히 우리사회의 구성원으로서 그들의 삶의 질 향상은 당면 문제다. 이 연구는 전북지역 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 사회적 참여, 사회적 지지 및 삶의 질에 대한 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 했다. 전북지역 결혼이주여성 633명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문결과 그들의 사회적 참여, 사회적지지 및 삶의 질의 구조적 관계에서 사회적 참여는 삶의 질에 유의한 영향을 주었으며, 사회적 지지는 삶의 질에 유의하였다. 사회적 참여와 삶의 질의 관계에서 사회적 지지가 삶의 질로 가는 경로에서 유의한 직접효과, 간접효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 전북지역 결혼이주여성의 사회적 참여와 삶의 질의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 이처럼 사회적 지지는 삶의 질 향상을 위한 중요한 변인으로 나타났다. 결혼이주여성은 사회적 참여 활동을 통해서 결혼이주여성들이 사회적으로 다양한 지지를 받아 이들이 스스로 자신의 역량을 통해 주체적 삶을 추구할 수 있도 록 하는 역량강화는 중요함을 알 수 있다. 결혼이주여성이 가지고 있는 역량을 사회 통합적 관계 속에서 다양하게 나타낼 수 있도록 사회 지지원들은 이들을 진심으로 지지하여 이들이 삶의 질이 향상될 수 있도록 하여야 한다.

영문 초록

This study is to improve the quality of life of marriage immigrant women by analyzing the mediation effect of social support in the structural relationship between social participation and quality of life Jeonbuk Province. This study reached the following conclusions; First, there is significant difference among marriage immigrant women s personal characteristics, social participation, social support and quality of life. When they stayed for longer period, their social participation, social support and quality of life revealed to be higher. Marriage immigrant women who had higher education level received more social support through positive social participation. Second, in the structural relationship among marriage immigrant women s social participation, social support, and quality of life, social participation had significant effect on social support, quality of life; social support had significant effect on had effect on quality of life, but social support did not show significant effect on quality of life. In the relationship between social participation and quality of life, social support had statistically significant mediation effect. Social support had effect on quality of life. The study draws the conclusion that among various factors of improving the marriage immigrant women s quality of life, country s policy, various programmes and education practices for enhancing their social participation, social support are important, and their own positive social relationship activities and personal efforts are demanded. Third, in the relationship between marriage immigrant women social participation and quality of life had significant mediation effect, which revealed that is a very important factor for improving these women s quality of life.
