영문 초록

To investigate the relationship between stress, psychiatric symptoms and immune function in diabetes mellitus, life stress and self-rating SCL-90-R were assessed and blood cortisol level and immunoglobulin were measured in 15 control subjects and 14 diabetic patients who had been admitted at Koryo General Hospital from Oct 1987 to Feb 1988. The results were as followings ; 1) The life stress was greater in diabetic group than control group according to the LCU measured. The former was 377.35± 258.60 and the latter 227.23士 130.00(p<0.05). The amount of negative stress (distress) in diabetic group (328.0, 81.2%) was even greater than that of control group(117.0, 46.1%). There was no difference between sex. 2) The scores of somatization, depression, anxiety, phobic anxiety and global severity index were higher in the patient group than, the control(p<0.05). 3) There was no statistically significant difference between two groups in blood cortisol level. 4) Although no significant difference in serum immunoglobulin G A M . was noted, the rate of lymphocyte to WBC was somewhat higher in control group(0.05
