음악교육에서의 세계음악과 문화에 대한 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 세계 여러 지역에 존재하는 문화에서 파생된 음악의 고찰을 통해서 음악교육의 관점에서 세계음악의 이해를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 소개된 문화권의 음악은 라틴음악, 집시음악, 다문화음악, 실크로드음악 등이다. 라틴음악은 에스파냐의 음악적 선율과 아프리카 리듬이 합쳐진 음악이며 아메리카 대륙으로 오면서 새롭게 세련된 가창스타일과 다양한 춤곡 양식으로 탄생하게 되었다. 유랑하는 민족인 집시답게 다양한 음악문화가 혼합되면서 탄생한 집시음악은 즉흥연주와 글리산도, 비브라토가 특징이며 그들의 삶처럼 영혼을 울리는 노래이다. 다문화음악은 종족배경에 의해 구별되어진 사람들의 대표적 음악을 의미하며 반드시 특정한 문화적 요소가 있어야 한다. 실크로드음악은 문화가 유통되는 통로인 동서교역로에서 동서양의 음악의 만남으로 새로운 형태로 탄생한 음악으로서 각 지역의 고유한 음악문화와 이국문화가 상호영향을 받으며 발전한 음악이다. 세계음악과 문화의 체계적이고 구체적인 교과과정의 확립을 위해서는 분류기준 설정, 자료개발과 검증, 교육내용의 정리, 교수학습방법 연구 등이 음악교육 관계자에 의해서 수행되어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the preliminary data of world music and culture for understanding of world music in music education through the review of music derived from cultures all over the world. This study divided world music in four by following different cultures: Latin, Gypsy, Multiculture, Silk Road. Latin music is influenced by the Spanish melodies and the African rhythms. After Latin music was introduced to America, the style of music has been changed to polished and various dance music styles. Gypsy music shows many different cultures music characteristics which reflects their roaming life styles. Gypsy music characteristically has vocals that tend to be soulful, glissandi between notes and vibratos, and improvisation elements. Multicultural music is representative music of people identified by ethnic background, and the music must have distinct cultural elements. Silk Road music was developed through an extensive interconnected network of trade route across the Asia connecting Mediterranean world as well as Europe, therefore, the Silk Road music has exotic and native musical elements that inspired each other. To develop world music education, the followings are suggested : 1)establishing the criteria of classification, 2)development of proven materials, 3) systemizing contents related world music education and 4)studying teaching and learning methods.
