국문 초록

2002년, 2007년에 이어 2013년 제3차 영재교육진흥종합계획을 발표한 교육정책의 여파로 학교 현장에는 수월성 교육과 함께 영재교육에 대한 여러 가지 요구가 있다. 과학과 수학 중심의 영재교육에 음악을 비롯한 예술분야가 더해지면서 영재교육에 대한 개념과 실천에 익숙하지 못한 현장 교사들은 여러 가지 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이 연구에서는 음악영재란 무엇인가에 대한 답을 찾고자 관련 연구를 조사하였다. 이 과정에서 음악영재와 관련된 음악적성, 음악성, 음악능력 등 다양한 용어들에 대하여 문헌을 중심으로 논의하였다. 음악영재에 대한 보다 명확한 규명은 관련된 용어들에 대한 분명한 규명에서부터 비롯될 수 있다. 음악영재에 대한 명확한 개념 이해는 판별, 교육, 후속조치 등 교육적 실천을 위한 기초가 되기 때문이다.

영문 초록

In the year of 2002, 2007, and 2013 the ministry of education announced a comprehensive policy for gifted and talented education. Because of that policy, school teachers are facing many difficulties. Most teachers do not have idea on gifted & talented education. As arts subjects are included in the gifted and talented education, teachers’ difficulties are getting grow. In this study, a comprehensive answer for the subject of the identity and clear concept of gifted & talented in music is secured by examining the related studies. Terms such as ‘musical aptitude,’ ‘musicality,’ ‘musical ability,’ and so on are discussed based on the definitions of the related studies. A more clear and firm definition on musically gifted & talented can be secured through the examination of related terms to the subject. The writers believe that a more clear and comprehensive knowledge on musically gifted & talented can be a foundation of finding, educating, and building a more systematic educational program for musically gifted and talented.
