영문 초록

In order to compare the change of the cognitive, psychotic and depressive symptoms in treatment between functional mental disorder and organic mental disorder, we administrated MMSE , BCRS , BPRS and HRSD to 43 patients with functional mental disorder and 22 patients with organic mental disorder for 5 times biweekly. Patients with functional mental disorder showed less cognitive dysfunction. In them, improvem ent of cognitive symptoms was parallel with changes of other symptoms, but in patients with organic mental disorder, cognitive symptoms and other symptoms improved only during first two weeks of treatment The assessment of different type of symptoms by treatment stage, as like depressive symptoms in early stage and psychotic symptoms in middle stage, may be helpful to differentiate two groups. And the assessm ent of symptoms changes from second weeks to fourth weeks was also more significant than the assessm ent at the other stages to differentiate two groups. In the symptomatic differentiation between functional mental disorder and organic mental disorder before treatment attention (MMSE ) ; concentration (BCRS ) ; hostility, blunted and inappropriate affect disorientation and conflusion (BPRS) ; late insom nia, psychomotor re tardation (HRSD ) subscales had high discriminant powers for organic mental disorder
