만성정신분열병 에서 혈청 Haloperidol 및 Prolactin치와 임상적 증상과의 연관성에 대한 연구

영문 초록

In order to evaluate the relationship between clinical symptoms and neuroleptic blood levels in chronic schizophrenia, We have examined BPRS, serum levels of haloperidol and prolactin of 37 male chronic schizophrenia (mean age 33. 43 ±8. 11 years, mean duration of illness 6. 65 ±3. 77 years). Serum levels of haloperidol and prolactin were determined with RRA and RIA method respectively. Schizophrenic patients were randomly subdivided into haloperidol group (N = 2 2 ), haloperidol + benztropine mesylate group (N = 8) and haloperidol + flurazepam group (N = 7 ). There were no statistically significant differences in age, duration of illness, weight and daily haloperidol dose among 3. group patients. After 14 days of study there were no significant correlation between B P R S total scores and serum levels of haloperidol (r=0. 17, P > 0 . 05) or serum levels of prolactin (r= —0. 21, P〉0. 05) in total group patients. The mean serum levels of haloperidol were 6. 25 ±5. 27 ng /mland prolactin were 31. 67 ±18. 69ng/ml in total group patients. To investigate the effect of antiparkinso- nian drug and hypnotics on serum levels of haloperidol and prolactin, serum levels were measured in 3 groups respectively but no significant differences were found in serum levels of halop-eridol (H = 2 . 94, P > 0 . 05) and prolactin ( H = 2 . 16, P〉0. 05) among 3 groups. There were significant correlation between serum levels of haloperidol and prolactin in total group patients (r=0. 66，P < 0 . 05). With these results, clinical implication was discussed briefly.
