영문 초록

In order to study the cerebral lateralization of the affective response induced by visual stimulation, the authors chose healthy right handed, 57 male and 50 female students and 2 videotapes dieting either predominently positive or negative affect were projected into both hemispheres in one group, into the right hemisphere in the second group and into the left hemisphere in the third group. After each visual stimulation, the affective responses were measured by means of the Visual Analogue Scale by the subjects. The results were as follows; 1) The right hemisphere group responded more intensely than the left hemisphere group in the negative affects such as unpleasant and horrific affects, while the left hemisphere group responded more strongly than the right hemisphere group in the positive affects like pleasant and humorous affects. 2) The above results were seen in males and females alike.
