고전 속 역사 인물 황진이의 콘텐츠화 연구

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 역사 인물 황진이를 콘텐츠화하는 양상을 분석하여 고전자료의 가치를 지금의 관점에서 활용하는 연구에 기여하는 데 있다. 역사 인물의 서사 콘텐츠화나 영상 콘텐츠화는 일반적인 양상이다. 영상의 시대로 접어들면서 영화나 드라마에 고전 속 인물이 초점화되는 사례가 많아지고 있다. 본 연구는 그 가운데 화제성이 많고 조선시대의 배경에서 정형화된 여성성을 탈피했던 황진이와 그 콘텐츠화에 주목하였다. 소설은 황진이 콘텐츠화의 주된 양상이다. 유몽인이 『어우야담』에서 입전한 이래 1930년대 이태준을 거쳐 2000년대중반에 여러 작가에 의해 중흥기를 맞았다. 황진이라는 인물을 주인공으로 세운것은 동일하나 내용은 작가의 의도나 상상력에 의해 차이가 났다. 황진이는 한시및 시조 작가였고 그가 남긴 작품을 활용하여 콘텐츠화하는 양상도 있었는데 주로 가요 장르에서 이루어졌다. 시조가 한글로 창작된 특징을 활용해서 이를 가요에 차용하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 역사 인물의 콘텐츠화는 인물의 사실적인 역사 정보가 제한되더라도 콘텐츠화 주체의 역량에 따라 가치 있는 결과를 도출할 수 있음을 구명하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to research that utilizes the value of classical materials from a current perspective by analyzing the aspects of turning the historical figure Hwang Jini into content. The conversion of historical figures into narrative content or video content is a common aspect. As we enter the era of video, there are more and more cases where classic characters are the focus of movies and dramas. This study focused on Hwang Jin-i, who had a lot of topicality and broke away from stereotypical femininity in the Joseon Dynasty setting, and her content. Novels are the main aspect of Hwang Jin-i’s content. Since Yu Mong-in’s entrance from Eou Yadam, it has experienced a revival by several writers, including Lee Tae- jun in the 1930s and the mid-2000s. The character Hwang Jin as the main character is the same, but the content differs depending on the author’s intention or imagination. Hwang Jin-i was a writer of Chinese poetry and Sijo, and there were aspects of using the works he left behind to turn them into content, mainly in the pop genre. It was done by taking advantage of the characteristics of sijo created in Hangul and borrowing it into popular songs. This study established that the contentization of historical figures can produce valuable results depending on the capabilities of the content creator even if the person’s factual historical information is limited.
