국문 초록
본 연구는 유아와 교사가 함께 살아가고 있는 현장에서 발현되고 있는 돌봄의 이야기를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 포토에세이 탐구를 통해 돌봄 현상과 그 의미를 탐구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 P시 국공립어린이집의 3세반을 14회기 관찰하며 사진 및 동영상 자료, 연구 노트, 교사와 나눈 대화를 녹음한 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 의미 해석을 위한 포토에세이 작성은 자름(cut)을 통해 생성된 이미지 다시 보기를 통한 회절적 글쓰기를 통해 이루어졌고 작성된 포토에세이는 다시 읽기와 함께 읽기를 통해 재-구성되는 과정을 거쳤다. 연구 결과 포스트휴머니즘의 관점에서 본 3세반에서의 돌봄은 ‘이분법적 구분의 경계를 넘는 돌봄들의 얽힘’, ‘물질의 행위성과 함께 돌봄인-되기로서의 변신’, ‘인간을 넘어 비인간 존재들에게로 확장된 돌봄’으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 신체돌봄, 정서돌봄 등 돌봄에 내재되어 이분법적으로 구분되어 인식되는 돌봄의 행위가 현상 안에서 서로를 횡단하는 가운데 일어나고, 돌봄의 장에 물질이 행위성을 가지고 적극적으로 참여하며, 인간 너머의 존재로서 사물들과 유아들이 관계맺음을 통해 함께 돌봄을 만들어 가고 있음을 시사한다.
영문 초록
This study aimed to examine the stories of caring that are being expressed in the early childhood educational institutions where young children and teachers live together, and explored the phenomenon of caring and its meaning through photo essay exploration. To this end, the three-year-old class at the P city daycare center was observed 14 times and photographs and video data, research notes, and recorded conversations with teachers were collected. The photo essays for interpreting the meaning of the data were written through diffractive writing by re-viewing the images created through cutting. And the written photo essays went through a process of being reconstructed through re-reading and together-reading. The results of the study showed that the caring of three-year-old class from the perspective of posthumanism was ‘the entanglement of caring that crosses the boundaries of dichotomy’, ‘the transformation as a caregiver-becoming along with the agency of matter’, and ‘caring extended to non-human beings’. The results of this study suggest that acts of caring occurs when the act of care crosses within the phenomenon, that materials actively participate in the field of caring with agency, and that beings beyond humans and young children are creating caring together through relationships.
