국문 초록

본 연구는 패널공간중력모형을 활용하여 한국 농식품 수출경쟁력의 결정요인을 분석하였다. 2023년 K-Food 수출이 약 120억 달러를 달성함에 따라, 수출 성과를 결정하는 핵심 요인을 규명하고 보다 폭넓은 수출을 위한 방향을 제시하는 것이 한국 농식품 수출의 중장기적 발전방안이다. 한국 농식품 수출경쟁력 강화를 위해 다음과 같은 전략이 필요하다. 첫째, 과거 수출 데이터를 활용하여 지속 가능한 시장 유지와 확대 전략을 수립해야 한다. 둘째, 물류 네트워크를 강화하여 물리적 및 인프라적 장벽을 극복해야 한다. 특히 향후 한국 농식품 중 신선 농산물의 수출증가를 위해 냉장 기술 및 유통 효율성을 개선하여 원거리 시장에도 적극적으로 진출할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 지역적 협력과 공간적 역학을 반영한 상호 보완적인 무역 관계를 구축해야 한다. 이러한 접근을 통해 한국은 변화하는 국제 시장의 요구에 부응하며 농식품 수출 강국으로서의 입지를 강화할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the determinants of Korea's agricultural export competitiveness using a panel spatial gravity model. With K-Food exports reaching approximately USD 13 billion in 2023, the research highlights key factors for strengthening Korea's agricultural export competitiveness and provides strategic directions as a foundation for the medium- and long-term development of Korea's agricultural exports. Historically, agricultural exports accounted for a small proportion of Korea's total exports. However, the remarkable growth of agricultural exports today, alongside the emergence of K-Food, can be attributed to the cumulative experience and strategies employed in the past. This underscores the importance of maintaining a strong foothold in traditionally established markets while actively leveraging the concept of K-Food, which integrates agricultural products with K-Culture, rather than viewing agricultural exports solely as the trade of raw goods.\n\nBased on the findings derived from the analysis of Korea's agricultural export competitiveness using the panel spatial gravity model, the study presents the following recommendations. First, strategies for sustaining and expanding markets should be developed by utilizing historical export data. Second, logistics networks must be strengthened to overcome physical and infrastructural barriers. Third, mutually complementary trade relations should be established, reflecting regional cooperation and spatial dynamics. By adopting these approaches, Korea can respond effectively to the evolving demands of the international market and solidify its position as a leading powerhouse in agricultural exports.
