국문 초록

본 연구는 사회적경제기업의 파트너별 네트워크 연계가 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 선행연구들에서 사회적경제기업들은 부족한 자원 확보와 정보의 교환을 위해 네트워크 연계를 활용하고 나아가 경제적 성과와 사회적 성과에 영향을 미친다고 제시하였다. 국내에서도 사회적경제 활성화를 위한 다양한 법적 및 제도적 기반이 구축되면서 관련 기업들의 창업이 증가하고 관련 환경들이 변화하고 있다. 그러나 사회적경제 관련 법제화 전후에 따라 사회적경제조직들의 네트워크 연계의 효과에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 미흡하였다. 국내 사회적경제기업들을 대상으로 한 실증 분석을 시행한 결과, 국내 사회적경제기업의 네트워크 연계는 파트너 유형과 성과 변수에 따라 다양한 영향 관계가 나타났다. 사회적경제기업의 매출 성과에는 자치단체, 공공기업, 민간기업과의 네트워크 연계는 정(+)의 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 고용 창출에는 자치단체와 공공기업과의 네트워크 연계에서 정(+)의 영향이 나타났다. 사회적경제 법제화에 따른 조절 효과를 분석한 결과, 법제화 이후에 설립한 기업은 네트워크 연계와 경영성과 간에 파트너에 따라 상이한 결과가 나타났다. 공공기업과 네트워크 연계 시는 매출과 고용에 정(+)의 조절 효과가 나타났고, 시민단체와 네트워크 연계 시에는 매출과 고용에 부(-)의 조절 효과가 나타났다. 마지막으로 사회적경제기업의 파트너별 네트워크 연계에 대한 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 제시하고 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구에 대해 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigates the effects of network ties among partners in social economy enterprises on managerial performance. Previous research has indicated that social economy enterprises utilize network connections to obtain resources and share information, which subsequently impacts both economic and social performance. In Korea, legal and institutional foundations have been established to promote the social economy, resulting in an increase in the number of startups and changes in the relevant environment. However, there has been little research on the effects of network connections of social economy enterprises before and after the enactment of social economy-related legislation. The analysis of domestic social economy enterprises indicates that network connections have varying effects depending on the partner type and performance variables. Social economy enterprises benefit from network connections with local governments, public enterprises, and private enterprises, which have a positive impact on sales performance. Employment creation is positively affected by networking with local governments and public enterprises. When analyzing the moderating effects of social economy legislation, it was found that the relationship between network connections and business performance varied depending on the partner for firms established after the legislation. Networking with public enterprises had a positive moderating effect on sales and employment, while networking with civic organizations had a negative moderating effect on sales and employment. Finally, the study concludes with theoretical and practical implications for networking among partners in social economy enterprises, as well as limitations and suggestions for future research.
