국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 베이비붐 세대를 대상으로 이들의 행복감 증진을 위한 사회적 차원의 개입 방안의 마련과 성공적이고 활기찬 노후 생활을 위한 방향을 제시하려는 것이다. 연구설계는 베이비붐 세대가 인식하는신체적 노화인지수준과 행복감과의 관계에서 심리사회적 노화태도와 물리적 고령친화환경의 다중매개효과를검증하고자 한다. 연구결과에 따른 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노화를 대하는 부정적인 태도나 노후 삶에 대한 불안을 상쇄시킬 수 있는 맞춤형 복지정책이 필요하다. 베이비붐 세대들의 신체적 노화인지수준에 따라 노화를 대하는심리사회적 노화태도가 부정적이며, 주관적으로 느끼는 행복감도 낮아지는 것으로 나타나 사회적으로 노화에대한 인식과 노년의 삶에 관심을 가지고 주시할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다. 둘째, 베이비붐 세대들의 연령별 스펙트럼에 따라 욕구가 상이하여 여기에 부합되는 프로그램을 개발·운영하여 여가 및 사회참여 확대를통해 이들의 우울예방 및 감소를 위한 사전 예방적 정책과 실천이 요구된다. 셋째, 고령자의 신체적 노화로인한 물리적·사회적 장애 없이 모든 세대가 더불어 살 수 있는 무장해 환경조성에 대한 노력으로 Aging in Place를 지향하는 물리적 고령친화환경 조성이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to prepare a social intervention plan to improve their happiness for baby boomers and to suggest a direction for a successful and lively retirement life. The study design aims to verify the multiple mediating effects of psychosocial aging attitudes and physical aging-friendly environments in the relationship between physical aging cognitive levels and happiness perceived by baby boomers. Suggestions based on the research results are as follows. First, there is a need for a customized welfare policy that can offset negative attitudes toward aging or anxiety about life in old age. The psychosocial aging attitude toward aging is negative according to the level of physical aging perception of the baby boomers, and the subjective feeling of happiness decreases, suggesting that there is a need to pay attention to aging and life in old age. Second, the needs of baby boomers differ according to the age spectrum of the baby boomers, and by developing and operating programs that match them, preventive policies and practices are required to prevent and reduce depression by expanding leisure and social participation. Third, it is necessary to create a physical aging-friendly environment aimed at Aging in Place in an effort to create an armed and compromised environment in which all generations can live together without physical and social obstacles caused by physical aging of the elderly.
