Enhancing Logistics Performance through Trust, Information Sharing, Commitment Level, and Supply Chain Agility

국문 초록

오늘날의 경쟁적인 경영 환경에서 공급사슬의 경쟁력은 개별 기업의 경쟁력만큼이나 중요하다. 따라서 기업은 지속적으로 공급사슬 경쟁력을 향상시키기 위해 노력해야 한다. 본 연구는 공급사슬 관리의 핵심 요소로 신뢰, 정보공유, 몰입 수준, 공급사슬 민첩성을 식별하고, 이들이 물류 성과에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 한국 내 공급사슬을 구축한 기업들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시했으며, 420개의 유효 응답을 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 사용하여 분석하였다. SEM 결과에 따르면 신뢰, 정보공유, 몰입 수준은 공급사슬 민첩성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 공급사슬 민첩성은 물류 성과를 크게 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 물류 성과를 향상시키기 위해 상호 신뢰, 원활한 정보 공유, 몰입 및 민첩한 행동의 중요성을 강조한다. 또한, 공급사슬 민첩성을 우선시하는 것이 변화에 적응하고, 위험을 완화하며, 역동적인 시장 환경에서 경쟁 우위를 확보하는 데 필수적임을 시사한다. 본 연구는 신뢰, 정보공유, 몰입 및 민첩성의 역할과 이들이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증함으로써 기존 문헌에 기여한다. 이 연구의 결과는 전체 성과와 경쟁력을 향상시키려는 공급사슬관리자와 실무자에게 특히 유용하다. 향후 연구는 이러한 관계를 다양한 산업과 지역에서 탐구하여 연구 결과를 일반화하고, 공급사슬 성과를 이끄는 메커니즘에 대한 더 넓은 이해를 제공한다.

영문 초록

In today’s competitive business environment, the competitiveness of a supply chain is as crucial as that of the individual firms within it. Therefore, firms must continually enhance their supply chain competitiveness. This study identifies trust, information sharing, commitment levels, and supply chain agility as key factors in supply chain management and examines their impact on logistics performance. A survey of firms with established supply chains in South Korea was conducted, with 420 valid responses analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The SEM results indicate that trust, information sharing, and commitment levels positively influence supply chain agility, which significantly enhances logistics performance. These findings underscore the importance of cultivating mutual trust, smooth information sharing, commitment, and agile actions to improve logistics performance. Prioritizing supply chain agility is crucial for adapting to changes, mitigating risks, and securing a competitive edge in a dynamic market environment. This study empirically validates the roles of trust, information sharing, commitment, and agility in supply chain management and their collective impact on logistics performance. The findings are particularly relevant for supply chain managers and practitioners aiming to enhance overall performance and competitiveness. Future research should explore these relationships across different industries and regions to provide a broader understanding of the mechanisms driving supply chain performance.
