초급 한국어 교실에서의 반복의 기능 분석

국문 초록

반복은 언어의 일반적인 현상으로 대체로 비효율적, 잉여적인 존재로 취급되기 쉽다. 이에 학자들은 반복이 의미 있는 기능을 가지고 있음을 밝혔고, 더 다양한 환경에서의 반복의 기능에 관하여 과제로 남겼다. 이 연구에서는 반복의 기능을 교수전략, 학습전략, 의사소통전략으로 나누려는 시도를 하였다. 이를 위해 실제 교수학습이 일어나는 교실 이라는 환경 내에서 발생하는 대화를 녹음, 전사, 분석하였고, 초급교 실에서 발생한 반복의 기능을 교수전략, 학습전략, 의사소통전략으로 구분해 보았다. 그 결과 실제 초급한국어 교실에서 나타난 반복은 지시, 입력, 오류 지적이 교수전략으로 사용되었고, 발화내용부정, 자기수정, 시간벌기, 따라하기, 연습(내재화)는 학습전략으로, 구체화 요구, 발화유도, 강조, 확인, 맞장구, 타인수정, 동감, 동의는 의사소통전략으로 사용되었다.

영문 초록

As a general phenomenon of language, repetition can be easily regarded as something inefficient and surplus. Therefore, scholars discovered that repetition has meaningful function and left a task about the function of repetition in more diverse environments. This study made an attempt to classify the function of repetition into instructional strategies, learning strategies and communication strategies. To fulfill this, dialogues made in the classroom where teaching and learning actually occur were recorded, transcribed and analyzed, and the function of repetition in a beginner’s class was divided into instructional strategies learning strategies and communication strategies. The study result showed that in terms of repetition in a real beginner’s Korean language class, instructing, entering and pointing out errors were used as instructional strategies, and cancelling utterance, self-repair, gaining time (delaying tactic), repeating after and practicing (internalizing) were used as learning strategies, and asking for materialization, inducing utterance, emphasizing, checking, chiming in, other-repair, empathizing and agreeing were used as communication strategies.
