심리적 구인 측정자료에 대한 다분 인지진단모형 적용 가능성 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 다분 응답으로 구성된 심리적 구인 측정자료를 대상으로 다분 인지진단모형의 활용 가능성과 유용성을 탐색하였다. 연구를 위해 한국교육개발원의 한국교육종단연구 2013 6차년도(2018) 학생 역량 조사 자료에 다분 인지진단모형 중 순차적 인지진단모형을 적용하였다. 고등학교 1학년 5,053명 대상 분석 결과 모형적합도 면에서는 sG-DINA가 가장 자료에 적절하였으며, 동일한 문항 내 서로 다른 응답 범주에 대해 인지요소의 보상성이 혼재하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 측정도구 개발 당시 측정 구인 간의 위계성을 고려하였으나 인지진단모형 적용에 있어 해당 위계가 부적합한 경우가 존재하였으며, 인지요소의 보상성 유무를 고려하는 모형의 경우 피험자 프로파일 및 인지요소 숙달 비율 산출에서 편향된 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 심리적 구인 간 위계성이 있는 다분 응답 자료에 대해 다분 인지진단모형을 적용의 시사점을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study explored the applicability and utility of the polytomous cognitive diagnostic models (CDMs) to a psychological construct measurement data composed of polytomous responses. The study applied sequential cognitive diagnostic models(Sequential CDMs), which are a subtype of polytomous CDMs, to the KELS 2013 6th year (2018) student competency data. The results showed that analysis of 5,053 first-year high school students revealed that the sG-DINA demonstrated the best model fit to data, indicating the presence of compensatory processes withing different response categories within the same item. While hierarchical relationships among measurement constructs were considered during the development of the measurement tool, inappropriate hierachies were identified in the application of Sequential CDMs. Some models yielded biased results in participant profiles and attribute proficiency ratio calculations due to the compensatory. Based on these findings, the implications of applying polytomous CDMs to data with hierarchical relationships among psychological constructs were confirmed.
