중국의 식량안보와 경쟁력

국문 초록

식량력, 안보지수 등 기존 연구결과를 보면 중국의 식량안보 능력은 상승기에 있다. 본 연구는 식량안보의 영향 요인을 조사하기 위해 중국 식량부문의경쟁력을 조사하였다. 농업 가치사슬 프레임워크를 활용하여 중국의 농업과 관련된 업계를 분석한 결과, 중국은 미국과 같은 선진국들과 유사하게 농업의 전방과 후방부문에서 협력하여 식량산업의 경쟁력을 향상시키고 있음을 확인했다. 특히 중국은 선진국의 성숙한 농업기업을 인수하고 종자와 화학 분야에서세계적 선도 역할을 하고 있으며, 이를 통해 국내 식량생산을 향상시키고 중국농업기업의 글로벌 영향력을 확대하고 있다. 결과는 중국 식량 부문의 산업사슬이 더욱 고도로 통합됨에 따라 중국의 식량안보지수도 지속적으로 상승하고있으며 중국 식량산업의 경쟁력 향상은 식량안보 능력과 정비례 관계가 있음을확인했다.

영문 초록

Judging from existing research results such as grain strength and security index, China’s food security capabilities are on the rise. In order to explore the influencing factors of food security, this study investigated the competitiveness of China’s grain sector. As a result of analyzing China’s agriculture-related industries using the agricultural value chain framework, it was confirmed that China is improving the competitiveness of the food industry by cooperating in the front and back sectors of agriculture, similar to developed countries such as the United States. In particular, China is acquiring mature agricultural companies in developed countries and playing a global leadership role in the seed and chemical sectors, thereby improving domestic grain production and expanding the global influence of Chinese agricultural companies. The results show that with the high integration of my country’s grain sector industrial chain, my country’s food security capabilities are also constantly improving, and the improvement of China’s grain industry competitiveness is directly proportional to its food security capabilities.
