빅데이터 기법을 활용한 씨름 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

유네스코 인류무형문화유산에 등재된 씨름은 우리나라 전통문화를 벗어나 세계적인 신체 문화로의 가치를 지닌 스포츠이다. 이 연구에서는 1994년부터 2023년에 KCI에 등재된 국내 학술지 146편의 논문 초록을 대상으로 빅데이터 기법 중 하나인 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 씨름 관련 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 텍스톰을 활용하여 키워드 분석을 실시하였고, Ucinet 6과 NetDraw 프로그램을 사용하여 의미연결망 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 키워드 분석 결과, ‘씨름’, ‘영향’, ‘선수’, ‘분석’, ‘체급’과 같은 단어들이 빈도가 높고 TF-IDF 값 상위권으로 단어쌍 분석에서도 씨름-선수, 정적-영향, 긍정-영향, 유이-차이, 프로그램-이용 등이 높은 빈도를 보였다. 둘째, 의미연결망 분석 결과, 연결중심성 분석에서는 ‘씨름’, ‘선수’, ‘차이’, ‘분석’, ‘대상’, ‘훈련’, ‘수준’, ‘유의’, ‘운동’ 등의 단어가 높은 연결중심성을 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 진행된 CONCOR 분석에서는 ‘다양한 씨름 훈련과 운동’, ‘씨름선수의 건강과 부상’, ‘씨름의 시대적 흐름과 영향’, ‘씨름 경기력과 프로그램’이라는 4개의 군집이 형성되었다. 이 연구를 통해 앞으로 연구될 씨름 관련 연구를 위해 전통적인 연구에서 제공하지 못하는 새로운 정보와 새로운 인사이트를 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Ssireum, registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is a sport that has value as a global physical culture beyond Korea's traditional culture. In this study, research trends related to wrestling were analyzed using text mining, one of the big data techniques, on the abstracts of 146 papers from domestic academic journals registered in KCI from 1994 to 2023. As a research method, keyword analysis was conducted using text, and semantic network analysis was conducted using Ucinet 6 and NetDraw programs. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of keyword analysis, words such as ‘wrestling’, ‘influence’, ‘athlete’, ‘analysis’, and ‘weight class’ were found to be high in frequency and ranked high in TF-IDF values. In addition, word pair analysis also showed high frequency of words such as Ssireum-athlete, static-impact, positive-impact, Yui-difference, and program-use. Second, as a result of the semantic network analysis, in the betweenness centrality analysis, words such as 'ssireum', 'athlete', 'difference', 'analysis', 'object', 'training', 'level', 'significance', and 'exercise' It showed high betweenness centrality. In the CONCOR analysis conducted based on this, four clusters were formed: ‘Various Ssireum training and exercise’, ‘Ssireum players’ health and injuries’, ‘Ssireum’s historical trend and influence’, and ‘Ssireum performance and programs’. Through this study, we hope to present new information and new insights in future wrestling-related research that cannot be provided by traditional research.
