국문 초록

본 연구는 2017년 하반기 지역별고용조사 마이크로데이터를 활용하여 경기도내 노동시장을 권역별로 구분하여 임금격차를 분석하였다. 이에 유효한 것으로 판단되는 22,922개의 데이터를 활용하여 연령, 성별, 학력, 근속연수, 종사상지위, 정규직여부, 산업, 직업분류 등으로 기초분석을 실시하고, Oaxaca and Ransom(1994)의 분석틀을 사용하여 권역 간 임금격차 요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 설명되지 않는 요인에 의해 남부권역 근로자들이 자신의 생산성 이상으로 받는 임금프리미엄과 타 권역의 근로자들이 생산성보다 임금을 적게 받는 임금손실분을 확인하여 권역 간 임금 격차를 확인하였다. 둘째, 연구모형으로 설명 가능한 임금격차에 있어서 남부권역 중심으로 중부, 동부, 북동부권역 비교는 학력에서 임금격차 요인이 가장 컸으며, 남부권역과 북서부권역 비교는 산업분류에서 가장 큰 임금격차 요인을 보였다. 이 분석결과를 통하여 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine, by analyzing wage differentials and factors for labor market characteristics in Gyeonggi-do Province. In this study, Using 22,922 data, basic analysis is conducted based on age, sex, education, length of service, status of workers, regular employment, industry, job classification. we analyzed the wage differentials between the regions using Oaxaca and Ransom (1994). The summary findings from the study are below First, We confirmed the wage premium that workers in the southern area receive more than their productivity and the wage loss that workers in other areas receive less wages than productivity. Secondly, In the wage gap that can be explained by the research model, The wage gap in education was the largest in the central, eastern, and northeastern regions for comparison southern region. And comparisons between the southern and northwestern regions were analyzed as the largest wage differential in industrial classification. The implications were derived through the analysis results.
