국문 초록

이 논문에서 우리는 바울서신에서의 하나님 나라 언급들에 대해이루어지고 있는 세 가지 접근 방법들, 곧 실증주의적 접근과 환원주의적 접근, 대체 이론을 검토하고 드러난 문제점들을 보완하는 통전적 접근을 제안한다. 통전적 접근을 통해 고린도전서의 하나님 나라 언급들(고전 4:20; 6:9, 10; 15:24, 50)과 그 문맥에서 사용되는 하나님 나라 유관 용어와 개념들을 함께 살핌으로써 우리는 4:20과 15:24을 하나님 나라의현재적 실재에 대한 것으로 보는 전통적인 해석이 구문론적으로나문맥상 이에 반대하는 견해들보다 설득력이 있음을 확인한다. 그리고 하나님 나라 언급을 통해 하나님 나라의 한 측면을 말할 때 바울은 거의 언제나 같은 문맥에서 그 반대적 측면 역시 고려하는데 이와같은 이중성과 긴장 관계는 바울이 이해하고 가르치는 하나님 나라복음의 본질적인 부분이었을 가능성이 크다고 주장한다. 우리는 또한 공관복음의 예수의 하나님 나라 말씀과 고린도전서에서의 바울의 하나님 나라 언급들의 비교점들에 대한 고찰을 통해 하나님 나라의 시간적, 의미론적 이중성과 긴장은 공관복음과 바울서신 모두에서 예수의 인격과 사역을 통해서 생겨나고 연결된다고 주장한다. 그리고 고린도전서에서의 하나님 나라 언급들과 여러 면에서 연결되는 마태복음 19:28/누가복음 22:28-30의 예수의 말씀이 고린도인들이 하나님 나라의 현재성에 대해 오해하고 잘못 적용하게된 한 가지 원인이 되었을 가능성과 그래서 바울이 서신에서 이 말씀및 연관된 예수의 다른 말씀들을 반영하면서 하나님 나라에 대해 다시 가르치고 있는 것일 가능성을 제안한다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we evaluate the three approaches to the references to the Kingdom of God in the Pauline epistles (positivistic approach, reductionist approach, and replacement theory) and propose a holistic approach that may improve their drawbacks. Employing the holistic approach to the references to the Kingdom of God (1 Cor 4:20; 6:9, 10; 15:24, 50) and other related terms and concepts Paul used in 1 Corinthians, we demonstrate that the traditional interpretation of 1 Corinthians 4:20 and 15:24 as references to the present reality of the Kingdom of God is syntactically and contextually more compelling than recent other dissenting views. We also contend that in 1 Corinthians, Paul almost always associates one aspect of the Kingdom of God with another in its immediate context, so the tension between those two competing aspects may not be lost and that this duality and tension may have likely been an intrinsic part of the gospel of the Kingdom of God as Paul understood and taught it. Then, having examined the points of comparisons between Jesus’ Kingdom of God sayings in the Synoptic Gospels and Paul’s references to the Kingdom of God in 1 Corinthians, we contend that the temporal and semantical dualities and tensions of the Kingdom of God are created and made integral in and through the person and work of Jesus in both the Synoptic Gospels and Paul’s epistles. We also suggest the possibility that Matthew 19:28/Luke 22:28-30 might have been one of the sources of misunderstanding and misapplication of the present reality of the Kingdom of God by some Corinthians and that Paul consequently might have been teaching them about the Kingdom of God again in 1 Corinthians by reflecting it and other related sayings of Jesus.
