경찰공무원의 워라벨에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록

경찰공무원은 국민에게 치안서비스를 제공하며, 계급 및 상명하복의 조직 구조적인 특성을 지니고 있으며, 법을 집행하기에 타 조직에 비해 업무의 강도가 상대적으로 높다. 최근 우리 사회는 일과 삶의 균형을 추구하는 ‘워라벨’을 중요시하고 있다. 경찰조직의 업무 특성상 어떠한 요인 일과 삶의 균형에 있어서 영향을 미치는가를 확인하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제주여성가족연구원이 수행한 제주지역 여성공무원의 일과 삶에 대한 조사 2021년 2차 데이터를 활용하였다. 워라벨에 미치는 영향요인은 국내외 선행연구를 검토하여, 승진요인, 근무요인, 교육훈련 요인, 직업의식 요인으로 선정하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 여성 경찰공무원과 부부 여성 경찰공무원을 비교하여 각각 워라벨에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하였다. 본 연구는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여, 기술통계 및 상관관계 분석 그리고 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 부부 여성 경찰공무원의 워라벨에 미치는 영향요인은 근무 요인 및 승진 요인으로 조사되었으며, 여성 경찰공무원의 워라벨에 미치는 영향요인으로는 근무 요인만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 경찰공무원의 일과 삶의 균형에 있어서 정책적 제언을 하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Police officials provide security services to the public, have an organizational structure of hierarchy and hierarchy, and enforce the law, so the intensity of their work is relatively high compared to other organizations. Recently, our society places importance on ‘work-life balance’, which pursues work-life balance. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence work-life balance due to the nature of work in police organizations. Accordingly, this study used secondary data from the 2021 survey on the work and life of female civil servants in the Jeju region conducted by the Jeju Women and Family Research Institute. Factors influencing work-life balance were selected as promotion factors, work factors, education and training factors, and work awareness factors by reviewing domestic and international previous studies. In addition, this study compared female police officers and married women police officers to identify factors affecting work-life balance. This study attempted to achieve the purpose of the study through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. As a result of the study, work factors and promotion factors were found to be factors affecting the work-life balance of married women police officers, and only work factors were found to have an effect on the work-life balance of female police officers. Based on these research results, we would like to make policy recommendations regarding the work-life balance of police officers.
