청소년동반자의 문화다양성 경험에 대한 내러티브 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 청소년동반자의 문화다양성 경험을 이해하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 청소년동 반자로 재직 중이면서 5년 이상의 경력을 지닌 3명의 연구참여자에게 개인 심층 면접을 실시하고, 그 결과를 내러티브 방법으로 분석하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2023년 1월부터 4월까지였다. 연구결과, 연구참여자의 문화다양성 경험은 청소년동반자 자신의 문화다양성 경험, 위기청소년의 문화적 특징 에 대한 발견, 청소년 상담 실무에서 문화다양성에 대한 대응의 세 영역으로 구성되었다. 연구참여 자들의 이러한 문화다양성 경험은 ‘자신과 청소년의 문화다양성을 이해하고 보듬으며 성장하는 청소 년의 동반자’로서의 정체성을 형성하는데 통합되고 있음을 발견하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 청소년동 반자 자신의 문화다양성 경험에 대한 이해와 성찰이 위기청소년의 문제를 문화다양성의 측면에서 이해하고 옹호하는 데 긍정적으로 통합될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the cultural diversity experiences of youth companions. To this end, personal in-depth interviews were conducted with three study participants with more than 5 years of experience while serving as a youth companions, and the results were analyzed in a narrative way. The data collection period was from January to April 2023. As a result of the study, the cultural diversity experience of the participants consisted of three domains: the youth companion's own cultural diversity experience, discovery of the cultural characteristics of at-risk youth, and response to cultural diversity in youth counseling practice. It was found that these cultural diversity experiences of the study participants were integrated into forming an identity as a 'companions of adolescents who understand, care for, and grow cultural diversity of themselves and adolescents'. The results of this study suggest that understanding and reflection on youth companions' own cultural diversity experiences can be positively integrated into understanding and advocating the problems of crisis youth in terms of cultural diversity.
