국문 초록

행복이란? 이 물음에 대해 한 가지로 답한다는 것은 불가능하다. 행복은 각자의 형편과 환경에 따라 각각의 모습으로 나타나기 때문이다. 아리스토텔레스는 행복을 두 가지 방향에서 찾고 있다. 하나는 ‘신적 요소’를 통해 주어지는 것이다. 또 하나는 학습과 훈련 등 ‘사람의 요소’를 통해 만들어지는 것이다. 그런가 하면 아우구스티누스는 행복을 ‘신적 섭리’를 통해 설명하고 있다. 이그나티우스의 행복론은 자신이 가지고 있는 가치관과 긴밀하게 연결된다. 아리스토텔레스는 행복을 추구하는 쪽에서 설명하고 있다. 반면 이그나티우스는 행복의 근원을 신앙과 연결하고 있다. 이것은 행복의 근원이 하나님으로부터라는 고백을 담고 있다. 그는 이것을 세 가지의 가치관으로 증거한다. (1) 신앙의 가치관 (2) 역할의 가치관 (3) 참된 고난의 가치관이다. 행복은 찾거나 발견하는 것이 아니다. 이그나티우스는 여기에 대해 우리에게명확한 답을 주고 있다. 그의 세 가지 가치관 속에 나타나고 있는 일곱 가지 행복론은 이것을 잘 표현하고 있다(‘하나님의 자랑거리가 되는 가치관’, ‘그리스도와연합의 가치관’, ‘신앙의 확신에 따른 가치관’, ‘함께 동역하는 가치관’, ‘한마음을 이루는 가치관’, ‘택함 받은 자로서’, ‘부활의 확신’). 이그나티우스의 가치관 속에 나타난 행복론은 그리스도를 닮아가는 ‘제자도’ 와 ‘십자가의 신앙’을 통해 종합적으로 설명된다. 이런 그의 행복론을 그가 쓴 일곱 서신을 중심으로 연구하는 것은 가치가 있다. 여기서 우리는 그의 사상과 그의 행복론이 가지는 참된 가치를 만나게 된다. 그리고 일곱 가지 행복론을 통하여 우리는 하나님을 향한 신앙이 왜 중요한지 알게 된다.

영문 초록

What is Happiness? It is impossible to give a single answer to this question. This is because happiness appears in different forms depending on each person’s circumstances and circumstances. Aristoteles looks for happiness in two ways: one is given through a “divine element,” and the other is created through a “human element,” such as learning and training. Augustinus, on the other hand, explains happiness through divine providence. Ignatius’ theory of happiness is closely related to his own values. Aristotle explains happiness in terms of the pursuit of happiness. On the other hand, Ignatius connects the source of happiness with faith. This is a confession that the source of happiness is from God. He proves this with three values. (1) The value of faith (2) The value of role (3) The value of true suffering. Happiness is not something to be found or discovered. Ignatius gives us a clear answer to this question. His seven theories of happiness, which appear in his three values, are a good representation of this.(‘Values that make God proud’, ‘Values of union with Christ’, ‘Values based on assurance of faith’, ‘Values of working together’, ‘Values of forming one mind’, ‘As the chosen ones’, ‘Values of resurrection assurance') The theory of happiness in Ignatius's values is comprehensively explained through ‘discipleship’ and ‘faith of the cross’ that resemble Christ. It is worthwhile to study his theory of happiness in the context of the seven epistles he wrote. Here we encounter the true value of his thoughts and his theory of happiness. And through the seven theories of happiness, we know why faith in God is so important.
