국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 자기애적 성격 성향과 청소년 비행의 관계를 자기개념 명확성의 조절효과를 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경북지역에 소재하는 고등학교 2개 학교 82명과 온라인 패널을 중심으로 전국에 소재하는 고등학생 285명의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0프로그램을 통해 각 변인들의 기술통계 및 상관관계를 분석하였고 조절효과의 검증에는 SPSS Macro PROCESS 모델 1을 이용하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 청소년의 자기애적 성격 성향의 전반적 비행, 구체적 비행(지위비행, 성비행, 폭력비행)에 대한 효과가 모두 유의하게 나왔다. 둘째, 청소년의 자기애적 성격 성향과 전반적 비행, 구체적 비행(지위, 성, 폭력 비행)간 자기개념 명확성의 조절효과를 개별적으로 살펴본 결과 모든 효과가 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 지위, 성, 폭력 등의 비행 문제를 호소하는 자기애적 성격성향의 청소년의 치료적 회복을 위해 고려되어야 할 요인으로서 자기개념 명확성의 의의에 대해 논의 했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to confirm the moderation effect of self-concept clarity on the relationship between adolescents' narcissistic personality tendency and juvenile delinquency. A total of 285 adolescents in Korea participated in the study. Results demonstrated that narcissistic personality tendency significantly affected juvenile delinquency. The moderation effect of self-concept clarity on the relationship between narcissistic personality tendency and juvenile delinquent was not significant. Whereas research hypothesis assumed that the significant moderating effect of self-concept clarity, the results of this study demonstrated the effects of charateristics of sample and item contents in this study. The result highlight the importance of considering juvenile delinquency level when helping adolescents with problems of aggressive behaviors, temperamental disposition toward behaving impulsively, and narcissistic personality tendency. The necessity for intervention programs gearing toward improving the clarity of self-concept clarity inorder to fulfill one's purpose for juvenile delinquency is discussed.
