국문 초록

최근 인터넷의 발달로 인해 음란물 사용이 증가하고 이러한 음란물의 지나친 사용으로 인해 개인이 통제력을 잃는 경우는 대인관계 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 문제성 음란물 사용이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향과 그 관계에서 성적 대상화와 성차별주의 역할을 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 구체적으로는 성적 대상화 가해의 매개 효과 양가적 성차별주의 조절 효과를 가정하여 조절된매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 성인 남성 540명을 대상으로 문제성 음란물 사용척도, 대인관계원형 검사, 성적 대상화 가해 척도, 양가적 성차별주의 척도를 실시하였다. 수집된 데이터를 바탕으로 Process Macro 14번을 통해 조절된 매개 효과를 검증한 결과 성적 대상화의 매개 효과가 유의하게 나타났으며 성적 대상화가 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향에서 양가적 성차별주의의 조절 효과가나타났다. 조절효과의 양상을 구체적으로 살펴본 결과 성차별주의가 높은 개인은 성적 대상화가 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향이 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서 나타난 연구의함의, 한계, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to empirically examine the impact of problematic pornography use oninterpersonal issues and the mediating role of sexual objectification, as well as the moderatingeffects of sexism. To do so, a total of 540 adult males completed measures of problematicpornography use, interpersonal relationship patterns, sexual objectification perpetration, andsexism. The results revealed a significant mediating effect of sexual objectification, and amoderating effect of sexism on the relationship between sexual objectification and interpersonalissues. This confirmed the moderated mediating effect of sexual objectification and benevolentsexism on the impact of problematic pornography use on interpersonal issues. Finally,implications, limitations, and recommendations for future research were discussed in this study.
