장애 재현의 주체 담론에 대한 사례분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애 재현의 캐릭터들이 어떤 주체의 경계에 있으며 어떻게 변화하고 실존하는지 기술한 질적 사례연구이다. 주체적 캐릭터의 과정을 형상화하고 있는 드라마<이상한 변호사 우영우>를 Christopher Vogler의 서사구조로 분석한 결과 억압적 주체, 윤리적 주체, 탈중심적 주체의 세 가지 주제가 제시된다. 먼저 억압적 주체는 Young의 차이의 요소인 지배와 억압적 상황에 토대하며 젠더적 편견을 가진 주변 캐릭터로부터 범주화된다. 윤리적 주체는 Levinas의 이론에 근거하며 타인의 고통을 통해 우영우 자신의 도덕적 윤리적 성장을 경험하며 구조화된 주체이며, 탈중심적 주체는 Foucault 등의 이론과 Young의 차이의 이론을 정당화하는 것으로 도출된다. 마지막으로 사회학적 관점의 장애 이론에 근거한 연대적 주체가 논의된다. 이 연구의 목적은 장애의 주체 담론이 차이가 충분히 인정되며 사회정치적 수행에 계급과 권력의 충돌이 없는 대표성을 가지고 문화적 다양성을 나누고 감상하며 이합 집산이 자유로운 주체를 발현하는 데 있다. 이러한 장애 재현의 주체 변화 과정을 이해하는 것이 곧 장애를 전방위적으로 이해하는 것이라 여겨진다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative case study that describes how the characters of disability representation are on the boundaries of subjectivity and how they change and exist. As a result of analyzing the drama , which embodies the process of an independent character, using Christopher Vogler's narrative structure, three themes are presented: the oppressive subject, the ethical subject, and the decentralized subject. First, the oppressed subject is based on domination and oppressive situations, which are elements of spiritual difference, and is categorized from surrounding characters with gender prejudice. The ethical subject is based on Levinas's theory and is a structured subject that experiences Youngwoo Woo's own moral and ethical growth through the suffering of others, and the decentralized subject is derived by justifying the theories of Foucault and others and Young's theory of difference. Lastly, solidarity subjects based on disability theory from a sociological perspective are discussed. The purpose of this study is to express a subject who shares and appreciates cultural diversity and is free to combine and collect with representation in the discourse of the subject of disability, where differences are sufficiently recognized and where there is no conflict of class and power in social and political performance. It is believed that understanding this process of change in the subject of disability representation is the key to understanding disability from all angles.
