2021년도 지역사회건강조사 자료를 활용한 국내 폐경기 여성의 우울 영향요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2021년 한국 지역사회건강조사 대상자 중 폐경기 여성 46,941명의 데이터를 사용하였으며 복합 표본설계를 이용하여 폐경기 여성의 우울증에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 범주형 변수의 그룹 차이는 Rao-Scott Chi- square 검증을 사용하여 분석하였고 국내 폐경기 여성의 우울증에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 폐경기 여성의 우울증과 관련된 유의한 요인은 연령(B=-0.01, p=.026), 가구 월소득(B=0.39, p<.001), 직업상태(B=-0.21, p<.001), 배우자 유무(B=-0.13, p=.040), 현재 흡연 여부(B=0.32, p=.001), 폭음(B=0.15, p=.011), 주관적 건강 상태(B=-0.16, p=.040), 스트레스(B=0.92, p<.001), 행복지수(B=-0.22, p<.001), 인지기능 변화(B=0.61, p<.001), 삶의 질 (B=-0.48, p<.001)로 파악되었다. 이들 변수는 폐경기 여성 우울증의 영향요인으로 17.1%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 폐경기 여성의 정신 건강 및 신체적 문제가 우울의 위험을 증가시킨다는 것을 시사한다. 그러므로 폐경기 여성의 우울증의 감소를 위해 본 연구에서 파악된 영향 요인을 중심으로 폐경기 여성의 우울증 극복을 위한 맞춤형 중재 및 교육 프로그램 개발을 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify the factors affecting depression in menopausal women in Korea. This cross-sectional study used data from the 2021 Korea community health survey of 46,941. The factors that influence depression in menopausal women were calculated using a complex and weighted sample design. Group differences in categorical variables were analyzed using the Rao-Scott Chi- square test. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors influencing depression in menopausal women in Korea. After examining the research findings in detail, it was found that age (B=-0.01, p=.026), monthly household income (B=0.39, p<.001), and occupational status (B=-0.21, p<.001) were the significant factors associated with depression in menopausal women. Other variables that contributed to depression were spouse (B=-0.13, p=.040), current smoking status (B=0.32, p=.001), binge drinking (B=0.15, p=.011), subjective health status (B=-0.16, p=.040), stress (B=0.92, p<.001), happiness index (B=-0.22, p<.001), change in cognitive function (B=0.61, p<.001), and quality of life (B=-0.48, p<.001). Together, these variables explained 17.1% of depression in postmenopausal women. These findings suggest that mental health and physical problems increase the risk of depression in menopausal women. Therefore, in order to reduce mid-life depression, we propose the development of intervention and education programs to overcome depression in menopausal women, focusing on the influencing factors identified in this study.
