국문 초록

본 연구는 정신건강 지원체계에 참여한 지역주민의 경험을 살펴봄으로써그 의미와 효과성을 바탕으로 적용가능성과 실질적 지원방안을 모색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 부산 D정신건강복지센터에서 수행하고있는 ‘이바구 미용실 사업’ 참여 주민을 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(Focus Group Interview)를 실시하였다. 그 결과 3개의 주제 묶음과 9개의 하위범주를 도출하였다. 3개 범주는 ‘정신건강 지원체계 참여 동기: 고객 맞춤 디자인전문가들’, ‘정신건강 지원체계 참여 경험: 커트, 염색 그리고 펌’, ‘정신건강지원체계 확대 방안: 새로운 스타일링’으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로지역 애착도가 높은 공동체의 활용, 주민 참여자의 활동 지원 및 보상 강화를 제안하였으며 정신건강 영역에서 주민참여 의미를 재검토하였다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate in depth the experiences of residents who participation in the mental health support system and to explore plan for practical support. Two focus group interviews were conducted with residents participating in the ‘Ibagu Hair Salon project’ being conducted the Mental Health Welfare Center. Qualitative data analysis extracted three theme clusters and 9 sub-themes and the key findings include the following: 1) Motivation to participate in the mental health support system : ‘Customized Service Professional’; 2) Experience in participating in the mental health support system response : ‘Cuts, dyes, and perm’; and 3) Plans to expand the mental health support system : ‘New styling’ Based on findings, highlighted the importance of utilization of local residents with a high community attachment, building support plan and reinforcement of compensation for effective response. In addition to this, reexamined of the meaning of resident participation in the area of mental health.
