중국의 공자문화 축제를 통한 정신문화 효과에 관한 연구

국문 초록

중국（취푸）국제공자문화축제는 위대한 사상가이자 교육자인 공자를 기념하는 현대식 축제로 매년 9월 공자탄신일을 전후해 중국 취푸(曲阜)에서 개최된다. 본 논문에서는 우선 중국공자문화축제의 기원 과 초창기, 성장기, 성숙기 등 세 가지 단계별 상황을 소개하고자 한다. 또한 공자문화축제의 특징과 지위를 설명하고자 한다. 공자문화축제는 공자의 고향에서의 개최에서 비롯되는 대표성, 공자 제례 문화 및 정부 주최에서 비롯되는 엄숙한, 세계적 영향력으로 인한 국제적 축제의 지위, 다양한 활동에서 비롯되는 다양한 컨텐츠 등의 특징을 갖는다. 끝으로 본 논문에서는 중국공자문화축제가 공자의 업적 기념, 공자 제례 문화의 전승, 유학 연구의 발전, 세계 문화 교류 촉진 등의 측면에서 거둔 정신문화적 효과를 분석하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The Confucius culture festival is a modern celebration in memory of the great thinker and educator Confucius, which is held in the city of Qufu every September. To begin with, this paper introduces the origin background of cultural festival, and sorts out the basic situations of the three development stages of cultural festival, which are input period, growth period and maturity period respectively. Moreover, the characteristics and status of the cultural festival are summarized in the paper. The cultural festival has a representative status as it is held in the hometown of Confucius; The cultural festival is characterized by its solemnity because of Confucius sacrificial culture and government’s hosting; The cultural festival has the status of an international celebration because of its global influence; The cultural festival has a variety of content characteristics due to its rich forms of activities. Last but not the least, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the rich spiritual and cultural effects achieved through the cultural festival in commemorating Confucius achievements, inheriting the culture of Confucius sacrificial rites, developing Confucian studies and promoting world cultural exchanges.
