인공지능 관련 미술교육 프로그램 개발 방향 탐색

국문 초록

인공지능 기술은 빠른 속도로 발전하고 있으며 우리 사회 대부분의 영역에 활용되고 있다. 미래의 미술과 미술교육을 예측하고 그에 대비하기 위해서는 인공지능 시대에 미술과 미술가의 역할과 기능은 무엇인지 재규정하고, 미술교육적 접근의 방향성을 제안해야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 인공지능 기술을 활용한 미술과 미술가의 사례를 살펴 그 의미를 탐구하고, 인공지능과 관련한 해외 대학, 특히 미국 예술 전문대학의 미술 교과목 사례를 분석하여 국내 미술대학에서 적용 가능한 교과목 개발의 방향을 모색하였다. 연구 결과 교과목 개발에 있어 미술에서 인공지능의 철학적 의미와 장단점 및 영향력에 대한 연구와 교육, 영역·장르·학과·기업 간 융합 프로그램 기획, 그리고 다양한 분야의 전문가에 의한 팀티칭을 비롯한 교육환경 제공 등의 방향성을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

Artificial intelligence technology is developing at a rapid pace and is being used in most areas of our society. In order to predict and prepare for future art and art education, it is necessary to redefine the role and function of art and artists in the age of artificial intelligence, and to suggest the direction of art education approach. Therefore, this study explores the meaning by looking at the cases of art and artists using artificial intelligence technology, and analyzes the cases of art subjects in foreign universities related to artificial intelligence, especially in American art colleges, to develop subjects applicable to domestic art colleges. As a result of the study, we derived the following directions for curriculum development: research and education on the philosophical meaning, strengths and weaknesses, and influence of artificial intelligence in art, planning convergence programs between domains, genres, departments, and companies, and providing an educational environment including team teaching by experts in various fields.
